Why are corp hoppers flagged by the EVE community? We are not thieves, scammers, rapi*ts, awoxers! We are just lost souls looking for some affection and love .........

Because the thieves, scammers, rapi*ts and awoxers are usually corp hoppers.

Because they take up precious db space with their corp hopping rows!

I know a guy who is constantly ripping of Corps to the tune of tens of Billions monthly. But the Corps continue to let him in, again and again and again. Very very wierd, someone is not checking...

Everyone is always repeating the mantra "Don't Trust Anyone" ad nauseum... If I can't trust the guys I play with, why bother playing with them at all? Fly Solo...

Lemme explain that by adding what I thought was missing in your OP,

Is that Guy = Player, i.e. Multiple accounts in which case there is nothing you can do and the victims have my condolences, and the Guy is doing something so simple its laughable.

If the Guy = single Character then the victims deserved it for being stupid and not checking at least to a basic level and good luck to the Guy.

So tell me, what type of Guy is it?

When the going gets tough the Gankers get their CSM rep to change mechanics in their favour.

corp hoppers might be thieves awoxers etc.
it doesn't really matter as something makes them pick the wrong corp for them over and over (ie they make the same mistake when picking corps again and again ) and why would you want someone who can't learn in your corp?
OR they have appalling personalities and people can't stick them for long so they have to keep moving. These are also people you don't want in your corp.
There may be a fine upstanding needle amongst this worthless straw but don't expect us recruiters to look for it. See long history with average stay measured in days and move on to a more promising recruit. In the end it isn't even worth researching which brand of unpleasant smell they are offering.

Money at its root is a form of rationing. When the richest 85 people have as much wealth as the poorest 3.5 billion (50% of humanity) it is clear where the source of poverty is. http://www.theguardian.com/commentisfree/2014/jan/20/trickle-down-economics-broken-promise-richest-85

I guess that's my point. He does it with a single same player every time...

You did not answer the question, if its a player using multiple different toons across multiple accounts then its easy, like taking candy from a baby. If it is a single character then the corp CEO is incompetent and deserves to be robbed, which one is it?.

OP presents a silly question which is...actually kind of logical.

Much like asking for a full API, looking at the corp history is one of those things that recruiter types think will protect them from various sundry bad people.

It's something you learn in Awox/corp theft 101 though, always have a perfectly clean toon for serious heists. Course, there's a few comedy guys out there (Hiya Psychotic Monk!) who manage to buck the trend and really show ff the inattention of some corps.

Why do you people assume that most of us care what you do? That sort of thing is what the game is for, after all.

At least, that's what it used to be for.

Since the game itself makes it impossible to know who is behind that character, any indication of problems gets flagged.....

Because EVE is a social game.

Humans are instinctively social, people apearing unsocial will usually be avoided.

A very long employment list with not much time spent with each corp indicates you are either up to no good, or very unsocialable, thus you are avoided.

Its actual darwinism in effect, something EVE is very good at.

BoBwins Law: As a discussion/war between two large nullsec entities grows longer, the probability of one comparing the other to BoB aproaches near certainty.

I fall into this category, though not intentionally. Yes I have hopped through multiple corps, but it has been because I find that they didn't offer what I'm looking for. I know everybody has an excuse, but when you just can't get past the recruiters to get into a solid corp, or you don't have the requisite KM's, you end up bouncing around in corps that accept everybody, and hoping that you get lucky. Now I just fly solo and disappointed...

For the record, I have never AWOX'ed or stolen from a corp, in fact I usually end up leaving ships behind for them. But, EvE Online is a game of PvP and keeping me docked up during a wardec in hopes of blueballin the opponents will just have me dropping corp one more time. For a game of social PvP it is certainly difficult for me to "find friends" to fleet with.... and I usually DIAF fighting solo.

I apparently made my mistake very early on joining into a "NRDS" alliance that was forced out of Nullsec, and I've been "tainted" by my associations ever since. Jumping around in failcorps has only made things worse for me.
