Im a relatively new player to Eve Online.
Most of skills are geared towards missile launching. http://eveboard.com/pilot/Ace_Li
I would like to fly Stealth Bombers and possible get into a good bomber copr and do some damage TwistedTwistedTwisted

here are some general subjects I have trouble planning out:
1) SOURCE OF INCOME!!! <---- this is harder than it should be (i think)
I've been doing anomolies and getting bounty rewards...but this is proving to be a pretty bad source of income.
I've also mined a bit.... didnt like it at all lol Cry
2) Skill Planning: whats the most time-efficent way for skill training for stealth bombing?
3) Attributes: Should I be respecing my attributes to help me with #2???
4) Im also up for any other tips and suggestions! Lol

Im a quick learner! teach me the wayzzzzz~

Income: Exploration, Mining, Faction Warfare, Missions. The more important question is what you you enjoy doing the most. Fun > income always, else you'll burn out.

Bombing: Bombing isn't usually a solo activity. I don't know of any specific bombing corp out there, usually corps and alliances use it as a tool like any other type of ship fit. Bombers Bar is a good hangout that does regular bomber fleets, but its a loose organization and not a formal corporation/alliance.

Skills: Look at what is required for bombers and the modules used. Obviously Frigate V in some race, electronic upgrades, the cloak skills, bombs, missiles, some ewar, shields/armor, etc, etc, etc. Check out fits on BattleClinicand EVE-U to see what is used and look at related skills in EFT. Respec might help, but might hurt in other areas, I've never worked out a direct path for training as I'm constantly training different things depending on corp/alliance needs.

(Additionally, training for CovOp Frigs gets you the bomber as well as the ship typically used for exploration, so that may help training/income time)

1. If you don't like mining, PVE can be an easy source of income. If you haven't done the Sisters of Eve epic arc yet, it's an easy way to get started. Then work your way up to level 4 missions. Alternatively, in nullsec, you can just kill belt rats for serious income.

There's also always industry, but it's a very different skill-set and you seem to be more combat oriented.

2. Stealth bombing is pretty straightforward: You need to be able to fly a stealth bomber, use a covert ops cloaking device, and be able to use a bomb launcher. Torpedoes will also help you. They don't fit much of a tank, but target painting and navigation skills will benefit you.

3. That depends. Figure out what you want to do over the next year. There's only so many skill points to put into bombing. Whatever you plan to spend the most time training, remap for that. Many people map for "spaceship command" skills.

Just on another note, stealth bombing can be very twitchy. Black ops roams are hilariously fun, and they can do serious damage to targets much larger than them, but it only takes a couple of shots to take you down; if you get locked, it's over unless your roam brings T3 stealth logistics (which don't even work very well).

Be prepared to possibly lose quite a few bombers, and to spend almost all of your time in nullsec.

I was looking into stealth bombing because of the "cool-factor" but i take it now that, stealth bombing gameplay still needs polishing?
do you recommend other methods of PvP over SB?
what are some mainsteam PvP gameplay that players do? sorry for asking such general questions...

*also, thanks for the Sisters of eve mission tip. i had no idea of it :)

No. Bombers are just highly specialized and not useful all of the time. In addition, stealth bombers aren't really a good source of income in most circumstances.

I generally advise against newbies beelining for stealth bombers for those reasons. If you want to get into SB piloting, though, most skills will overlap with other missileboats. Caldari have the largest number of missile ships, though Minmatar also have a fair few and Amarr have some as well.

Destroyers are a great PvP gateway. Solo they can take down t2 frigs. In numbers They can take down anything.

Join in-game channel "Bombers Bar". They are newbie friendly. Have fleets almost every day. Great bunch of guys. You don't need to belong to any specific corp to join in. xxXPIZZAXxx is a bomber focused corp. I've never flown a bomber with them, but some of their guys support the New Order and I've flown in gank fleets with them. They were cool. There are some others around too, but I'm afraid I don't know their names.

Solo in your bomber you won't do much bombing. You can do some cool things with it though. Put torps, target painter, and probe launcher on and haunt lowsec, wormholes, and nullsec, looking for industrial ships to kill. Ones hauling planetary interaction and sleeper loot (wormhole NPCs) will have nice loot. You can put light missles on instead of torps and kill explorers in lowsec and nullsec data/relic sites. Do it after they've hacked a few of the cans so you get the loot. I'm assuming here you don't want to play the good-guy obviously :)

Bombers are great fun. No reason not to give it a try, and having skills that allow you to warp while cloaked will be very handy no matter where you go in Eve.
