Only way to not get dec'd is to stay in NPC corp. There are ways to mitigate your likely hood of getting dec'd but posting on the forums isn't one of them.

If you are a good target people will pay whatever the dec fee's happen to be. Your best bet is to not make yourself a target or to live in a WH. A 2 person corp is rarely a good target unless you are auto-piloting around in stuff that is worth killing, doing other AFK activities, or flying blinged out ships.

wardecs are best part of EVE, i've been in somekind of wardec or faction warfare almost constantly from 2007 and it has not prevented anything from me, only some stuff may be stupid as autopiloting but not big loss for me.

You can always do the hauling stuff etc with alts in npc corp.

I fought him once, it was a stalemate, noone died, he dropped his corp and I never saw him again.

Think about this way, OP. Once you fight this guy, if your corp doesn't disband, you will be able to weather anything. There are few more fearsome than Cannibal Kane.

This is kind of true. You get wardecced way, way less if you are known as a pvp-capable entity. By taking a step back in your PVE activity (run lower level missions in PVP fits, keep tabs on intel channels) you can still make ISK albeit at a slower pace while maintaining combat readyness. Or get comfy in lowsec, most hisec wardeccers won't follow you into your home system. I mean... lowsec dude... you could lose your ship!

The best way to deal with decs is to spend most of your time outside of hisec. Try and stock up whatever you need for your lowsec/wh/null activities in time. The less you need to move around hisec to grab stuff during war, the less interesting it becomes to wardec you. In lowsec itself the effects of a wardec have some influence on sec loss, sentry aggro, and Suspect timers, but these are marginal advantages that work both ways. So should your war targets be as bold to extend the courtesy of a visit rejoice, as it happens rarely you get to fight hisec war targets on your home turf.

Just use public contracting, hauling alts are for the poor, let some anonymous hoarder do the work. Plus you get a funny mail and collateral ISK when your contractee gets ganked.
