Not so incredible, but your dps was just terrible, my drones would have finished you off well before I hit half tank.

lmao I hadn't even fired on you yet, my hammers were killing your hammers. You were next. Your damage was from the initial drone aggression when you fired on me.

You knew you were dead the moment you capped out and I got to 15k which is pretty much exactly when your brought your alt in. Consequently same thing happened yesterday when your alt attacked me and I capped him out.

Waste of time arguing about it really though isn't it. Next time I'll bring my alts and you bring yours and we'll see how things pan out.

If it was so bad why did he need his alt. Because he was screwed by that fit. There's literally no way to beat it in a blaster Proteus. It caps a Proteus out and keeps it at range. Reason it had light missiles was originally he was in an iskur.

He also warped in his alts Mega yesterday on top of that same Raven and I capped that out too. It sat there like a big turd unable to do anything.

EvE is a game of Rock Paper Scissors, you can fit a ship any way you like as long as it counters the strengths of the ship you're fighting. Blaster Mega Blaster Prot they both need cap and they both need close range.

As for the loss it could have been fitted with officer mods in a cookie cutter Raven fit and it still would died to a Prot and Mega together.

Well it did didnt it

Basically I needed something to entice him out, that he'd think was easy to kill. Ravens are seen as PvE boats and even cruise shouldn't be an issue for Prot. Torps are crap. So the idea was to utilize all the mid slots for webs cap n scram, plates in lows gave me 160k EHP against his damage type, slowed me down sure but to about 160 with his web on while he was at 75.p

It worked perfectly. Started at 0 range and I took it out to 15km outside his range, he had no cap. Pretty much dead at that point.

Okay you got me, you CAN do it, however what i mean with "work" means that it can kill stuff within 30 mins.

You basically removed all DPS from the raven to give it an armor tank.

Yeah we'll when he challenged me to a 1 v 1 he did so in an Ishkur. He pulled a sneaky in switched to the Prot. Would have thrown on heavies in that case. Standard Raven would not have beaten a Proteus.

And not to give it an armor tank, to give it nueting power and a speed advantage he couldn't beat.

Nah the guy sat in station scanning my fits for 48 hours lol. Had to give him something he thought he could definitely beat. Fitted up a standard PvE raven n just put a disruptor on it to bait him into attacking me.

No way he would have gone for Tengu. He's one of those people that needs to scan first to ensure he'll win. He won't engage unless hes 110% positive.

Oh and you barely made it to my tank while you were getting shot up pretty good by my drones before my friend decided to come join the fun. Your only chance of survival if he didn't show up was to warp away or dock.
