Needs to happen, i even got an idea for fitting options

Highs - 8, 8 turret slots
Meds - 5
Lows - 5

Powergrid - 8000
CPU - 500

dronebay - 0
other stats similar to regular domi

amarr battleship skill bonus - 10% medium laser damage per level
caldari battleship skill bonus - 10% medium laser range per level

They're rails. This idea isn't too bad though, rogue drone loot is crappy enough since the poo nerf & they could do with their own BPC drops to bring worth back to that now worthless area of space.

Actually the Rogue Drone Battleships shoot some kind of specialized Drone-only weapon that deals a mix of Explosive and Kinetic damage for the most part.

Also given that they only drop drone based modules wouldn't such a hull automatically have drone bonuses?

From a drone's perspective, drone modules are like BCU's or gyrostabs i imagine.

There are officer drone damage amplifiers, drone navigation computers, omnidirectional tracking links, drone link augmenter.
Basically every drone mod has an officer variation.

I hate to say it, but I'd buy one even if the absolutely awful stats in the OP applied; Eve needs more tentacle-mawed ships.

They are awful stats though. Eight medium lasers? What?

No, I'm afraid that despite the fact that the RD Domi currently used by drones isn't a drone boat, a player RDD really should be. If you insist on non-hybrid weapons as a secondary system I'd find that reasonable what with the FN Domi already out there.

There's plenty of precedent for this, of course. How many drones you seen fielded by a Guristas Rattlesnake? How many launcher slots does that Machariel on market have? Etc. Etc.

That the assumption that they're command and control or local buff modules to other Rogue Drones is just as valid and makes more sense than your assumption that they bonus the ship itself? A module designed to boost something internal to the ship is unlikely to suddenly bonus something external to the ship just because it's plugged into another hull.

If anything I would rather see faction (not officer) rogue drone mods that add rogue drone visual effects to the hull they are equipped to.

I think OP wants a laser bonused dominix because POS bashing.
Laser dominix is already the best posbash ship if you don't want to reload and want max dps.
