and they pay nothing

It is precisely that word, compliance, that bothers me.

I'm not shitting bricks for losing money to the permit. 10 mil ISK is pennies.

In real terms, complying with the will of the legitimate government of highsec space needn't change anything about how you play the game. After all, the New Order has no desire to 'control' you during your leisure time. You just need to do everything you're told to do by the New Order.

If I don't want your permit or your silly code cluttering up my systems I have that right.

No, your rights end in optimal+2*falloff. Miners do not have rights, as stated in the Code.

Correction: Miners have the right to have their barges exploded. Contact a New Order representative twenty-four hours a day to have a licenced Catalyst pilot delivered to a location convenient for you.

So if I send you a location and sit there in a venture with one laser, how many catalyst will you throw at my ventures. I'd rather get blown up/podded repeatedly and keep some other miner safe.
Also I'm not a miner, I do mining on occasion.Cool

ITT: Lazy OP wants free info, soon taken over by mining carebears and New Order carebears bickering over non-existent mining permits.

It's a harsh game. You're free to extort and call it a public service. We're free to call you out on your bull****.

I still don't follow you.

Did CCP create this game that allows for the above things I stated... yes.
Do people cry, whine, and rage when someone plays the game allowed by CCP... yes

that is all I was stating so I still don't see what your on about. I never said anything about public service so you've gone a little wonky there. I am not responsible for creating this game which allows extortion, so why I are you getting on me about the truth of things?

Do I need to spell it out for you? You criticize players who criticize the way other players use game mechanics, even though game mechanics allows such criticism to occur.

firstly, your pretty torqued right now and I don't appreciate you swearing at me. Secondly yes you do need to spell it out for me. Your anger does you no good to make it easy to understand. I have no idea why your getting so ticked. Makes no sense.

Here is my point. if someone is extorting/ransoming in game does that make them a bad person out of game? Does that make it allright to claim a higher moral ground and then put people down? I did not call anyone names, nor did I swear at them as you did.

I did not criticize someone who was complaining about game mechanics, I criticized them for name calling. There is a huge difference.

and chill, it's just a game and its just the forums....and if your going to twitch I suggest you do it with a t before the c

Extortion is the act of threatening someone for something they have. Give us 10 mil or get ganked sure seems like extortion to me. The cost is more or less irrelevant.
Tha'ts also a functional description of taxes: Pay us, or bad things will happen to you.

One or two or maybe a small gang? Probably criminals. A large, well-organized, and broadly-supported organization with intenal rules and published guidelines? Probably taxmen.

Wow things went downhill in here. Sad

Tax-men, extortionists, gankers. All just players doing what they do.

This thread has gotten lost in a pretty semantic squabble. Go english.....What?

I also never said anyone was being judged as a person outside of the game, nor claimed any moral high ground.

I think BenDover was simply pointing out that my posts were no different than the posts BoSau Hasim defended. Two faces:Same coin.

Anyway if ya'll want to find me and pod me or something I kick it in and near Nedegulf. Just makes the game more exciting. I firmly back people trying to work the system, I just didn't like the manifesto style of New Order campaigning. As far as I know I've never seen them anywhere I fly. I've also been ganked and learned my lessons about how and where to fly my mining ships in peace.

I got ya. (not gank wise, forum comment wise lol)

BenDover didn't get my point.

I constantly see people personally criticizing other people's game play and insinuating that they are bad people in real life because they play the game on the 'dark side'. So that is what I thought you were doing. That is what my post was about.

It wasn't about your criticizing their type of play, it was the name calling.

Some people think it's unsportsmanlike to pod someone after pvp and they get angy and insinuate that these people must be are not good sports in real life. That's just an example of what I'm talking about. The crossing over from game play to real life.

I apologize since I did not make my point clear.

No worries here.Smile

I'm very mellow in reality, I just love the social interaction this game creates and allows. Things like New Order are awesome in their own way, it's just not my cup of tea.

Glad to see we cleared things up sorta.

Is anyone gonna help the OP?Ugh

I have no idea how to fit a mining ship for yield, but what I can tell you is that if you intend to mine in hi-sec, please ensure that your mining permit is in order before you do so. You may purchase this permit from myself or any authorized Agent for the sum of 10m isk.

Remember, Permit Tank = Best Tank. Cool

You haven't read my bio? All hail James315 of the New Halaima Code of Conduct! I even say that in local when an agent enters my system. And then theres all the raging miners in local after the fact... XD

Btw my agent is xxBLACK SKULLxx and I rat out all mining bots in high sec. I personally mine in low though. Btw this is all I had to do to get all you guys raging on the forums? Congrats to all who wasted their time posting for my entertainment.

Side Note: yea I'm a lazy mofo. Posted this at work on my iPod. Can't really use EFT with this piece of crap. Surprised this information isn't readily available unless you use EFT. Osium kinda helped with exhumers but didn't find anything for the barges. Oh and that "No Trolling Please" guy. Your f***in hilarious, eve is troll central.
