As far as I know there is a 14 days of trial period before you have to subscribe.
Or 21 days if you are using a buddy invite.

However in EULA is stipulated a 30 days period.

Which one is correct?

quote from EULA:
"Upon establishing a new Account, you will be entitled to play EVE for up to thirty (30) days without paying the subscription fee (the "Trial Period"). If your Account is not terminated in accordance with the procedures set forth below within that thirty (30) day period, you will be charged the subscription fees as described during the registration process when you established your Account. Hi Marduf

30 days is the maximum time a trial can last.
As far as I am concerned, there are no 30-day offers available at the moment, but a while back winrar was handing out free 30-day trials at http://eve.win-rar.com/. However, it seems all codes has been used at this point.

The longest trial available at the moment is, as you already said, the 21-day buddy trial.

Notice the "up to" verbiage....

"Measure Twice, Cut Once."
