I've been looking for some videos that are from the perspective of in-game characters or entities such as news channels and the like. i've seen brief clips of this but can't seem to find them now that I'm actually interested in it. I did check the Press Release page and World News and stuff like that, but found only text news releases. Anyway, do the videos I'm looking for even exist? If so where can I find them?

The only videos that we've ever released that are news related were The Scope Breaking News broadcasts for The Malkalen Incident, The Yulai Elder Fleet Standoff, Uriam Kador's Invasion of Ratillose, and the Cornation of Jamyl I.

They formed part of the marketing push focused around The Empyrean Age Expansion and its associated novel.

As far as I can tell we've gotten videos for all the Empire-changing events with the possible exception of the "event" that caused some stars to flip out and blap a populated Gallente planet, but that was only a single, backwater world in only one of the empires.

I'm sure we'll be getting a lot more and better quality stuff once these real stories from EVE get rolling.
