Why the focus on FiS? CCP may need to rethink this

So we had those that protested, as well as a number of people unsubscribing, which has resulted in a refocus on FiS by CCP. This though has now caused a major problem, one that is known as 'Amplus Delectatio' and many players have been showing signs of it's affect. I'm not sure what CCP can now do about this, seems it's only likely to spread to those outside the game as well.

CCP need to rethink this whole refocus on FiS because there may be long term problems with people smiling to much. This is EVE, people are supposed to cry, not smile dammit.

We know CCP can never be the same as they were when the game was in Beta and the first few years after release, but it is nice to get just a glimpse of the motivation and enthusiasm that drove them in those early days in making a great game, rather than just being more focused on making money. Give me a developer that truely cares for their product over one that is just in it for the money any day (the multitude of money focused Asian F2P games I'm looking at you).

I honestly hope this newly re-invigorated CCP continues into the future.

Nex (Cash Shop) / Aurum - removing sand from the sandbox since Incarna. Currently the only use for aurum is to buy virtual items in the in-game store, but Cockerill expects to expand its uses in the future.

Yes except like many things in life, humour is subjective. The same way some people find British humour funny but not American and vise versa.

If you do not like my attempt at some light hearted humour, then so be it, no skin off my nose as they say. Smile
