Please mirror tranquility onto the test server. I would very much like to get back onto the test server.

Its sort of a 50/50 really. because without mirrors we wouldn't play on singularity, which means lots of bugs would get through, making CCP need to work more.
But at the same time, CCP is really busy right now with TQ and whatever, which is why they haven't really been working towards mirroring TQ onto SiSi

If anything, preforming a mirror is probably something they do to look busy when there's nothing else to do :P. Just copying databases and running scripts to sanitize out all our star-bases and other goodies and seed tons of stuff (and whatever else they have to do).

Personally, I just hop on SiSi when I'm not doing anything on TQ, so Mirrors can be few and far between. The problem here seems to be people hear they can use things they can't afford on TQ and feel entitled to have access to this server or something along those lines. All I know is that It gets annoying to see tons of these posts.

There's two types of people. People who need a mirror to get their stuff on SISI, and people who already have their stuff on SISI.

I'd say the first group has a more valid reason for saying "YES" than the second has for saying "NO".

I agree, but the group that already has their stuff on the mirror also usually wants a mirror to re-fresh their skills and re-distribute event SP. So both groups have reasons for wanting a mirror.

What's annoying though is the inability of people to search or browse the threads, and post in an already posted thread, instead of making numerous new threads for the same thing.

What CCP should really do IMHO is just whenever they arent super busy put a few people up to writing a script that does everything they do. That way we might lose 2 mirrors (give or tak 6-8 months without a mirror) but at the end of it the mirrors would automatically get done every 3 months

I always wonder about games that come out after other games, and have less options. Everquest for example has a command you can use to port your character over to the test server. I can't imagine why a game that came out 4 years later has a hard time setting up a job to copy a file from one server to another. It's not like people need all their ships and such copied over every time, when everything is 100 isk.

With the increase in shiptoasting, the Report timer needs to be shortened.
