Hmm sounds like alek is holding a grudge and on some sort of power trip...

And who the hell is noir? They an industry corp cause I've never heard of them.

Their claim to fame is something that happened a long time ago that nobody remembers, Aleks being on the CSM and accomplishing nothing but pushing for a vote reform that resulted in our now completely erratic, pointless and stupid CSM voting mechanism, and generally pretending he invented the merc game.

If you're playing this game, and you live in Empire, chances are they just as inconsequential to you as they are to their targeted party via contract (if they still get them).

So glad you clarified that Aleks, because WE (you banned all corps I've joined and their members from the channel, except Marmite - and that's to use the channel, not even to list our corp as a merc).

I got banned because I perma-dec'd 'Narwhals Ate your Duck'. I did that because they back stabbed me by taking my money and ended up defending the wh residents we hired them to evict for more isk. Being a long standing client of Merc Contracts (I've hired dozens of mercs over the years) I thought you'd give me the benefit of the doubt, so I went to you with our grievance.

Now, Cipreh in-game convo has accepted it and apologized to me more than once for the "misunderstanding" (all I wanted to hear) and it did cost them and the wormhole residents well over 150 billion isk in destroyed assets and an eventual eviction.

You banned me because you could and you're buddies with Cipreh. I haven't trolled that channel ever, I haven't scammed contracts (but this is what you told Khromius because I spoke to him). You had NO reason to ban me.

Conclusion:

I think whenever somebody does something you don't like, you use Merc Contracts channel against them thinking it'll make a difference. Banning me or my corp mates, or anybody associated with me has done nothing to curb our ability to systematically beat down any merc listed in your channel.

If it's a "public service" then you need to unban me and my corp mates because you've admitted I've done nothing to break the rules. Calling me "Mental" based on what? That I follow through with the threats I make? Time to step up and realize you banned us all on grounds you didn't like what we were doing in game. Simple as that.

Dec'ing Marmite for a few weeks until Tora pays you off hardly qualifies as the ability to systematically beat down any listed merc. At least when BAW/WEPOD were finished with Whores they were nothing but a rotting husk of their former selves, which is more than can be said about your "success" with Marmite.

I for one am looking forward to the day you decide to vainly attempt to systematically beat down BAW or WEPOD - we're going to have very green killboards when you do.

No angst. Just calling you out on your claims that you have the ability to actually impact all of the mercs listed in the channel. Being able to beat down Marmite is a far cry from being able to do so against other groups that are designed to actually fight rather than camp.

I like this thread because it serves to highlight just how thoroughly out of touch with the community he is. It should be pretty apparent to most people at this point anyway, but just in case they weren't aware previously they are now.

The unrelenting air of self importance was good too.

What I said is true. In 2011 when it mattered, we wardec'd th entire channel. The result only 2 corps were left listed. Even Tora may remember this b/c it was a term of surrender for us to drop our war against Counting with Teddy. So, maybe you were still mission flipping noobs in Arnon with you bad merc crew I dunno.

If I think it necessary to harass you I will. It's a safe bet based on past results your killboard will not be green. You know I'm leaving Eve for work so commence smack talk. I have a long memory.

I think the best way to improve the merc channel after this chaos has been cleared, is to remove aleks from modship and get someone with an unbiased opinion of mercs with some actual merc experience.
