after analyzing whats going on in nullsec, I came to the conclusion we need a new weapon type

POS Buster - should be a megatorpedo that can blast through POS stations and blow them all up

I'm thinking of a stealth bomber version of this, there are way too many POS up there and as it seems those Dreadnaught don't get the job done...

I think solo player should be able to blow stars

with a stealth bomber of some sort.

This would be the worst, if it destroyed all the station services smaller alliances would have no chance at defence because the larger alliances would most likely set up and just pop all the stations, making taking sov easier for them.
This idea would be good if people solo took sov
The main problem is if you give this to small alliances you give it to big alliances where it would become overpowered.

Also having so many pos's is a deterrent and a defence layer.

I see POS Busters more as a nullsec cleaning service, those guys out there sure will build some more, I mean its a sandbox, those sandcastles should not be invincible... each POS going bust, gives the alliances out there more work to build new ones, and thats what the game is about

Everything in game has a risk. To kill an enemy structure, you need to either field Capitals, or a lot of ships to avoid taking too much time and therefore letting your enemy prepare to fight you. We do not need "superweapons".

solo pilots all over the universe are struggeling, they do the hard work nearly alone out there, fighting against thousands of people in mega alliances, if the big ones just hold hands, then the small ones need bigger weapons, there could be restrictions to those superweapons, so you can not use them in fleet you have to do it solo

we need those weapons to terrorize those big alliances and what they have become, it would be just a natural developement in an universe like this, where big dictatorships need to be fought by individuals who are sick of it

Might i suggest you go and try second life? i'm sure you can make friends there.

I wish you could go to some WOW forum and do the same: ask devs to create a ragnaros buster (or whatever big boss it is now) for you.

Do you realize that you don't need to fleet up in order to act like a fleet? Organized group of 200 "soloists" on TS on the great quest of Sov grind, npnp.

While we are at it, your idea only can go two ways:

1) Solo SB can't reliably destroy POSes and other structures, but can grind them extremely fast with this new weapon: now strongest alliances can go and bash little guy's infrastructure for the lulz since you've just removed the only reason they CBA to do just that, namely - manpower commitment and logistical issues of sieging.
2) Solo SB can reliably destroy POSes and other structures: congratulations, you've just single-handedly removed entire feature of EVE, namely player-owned structures and Null inhabitation, completely. If even strongest alliances will be unable to keep their buildings, nobody will.

Goddamit, think before posting.

I think we should rather introduce a cruiser sized Module Flash Beam Laser and after 4 Flashbeamlasers are fired up you can activate the "Pos Buster" and catch the POS.
Of course the "Ghostbuster" Jingle has to be played on success. :D

just start guarding your POS, you are some thousand players out there, make it happen
