A brilliant concept; Phonebloks.

Dave Hakkens has come up with a great concept for an upgradable cell phone; you get exactly the cell you want and the land fill gets less.

This is awesome. I'm behind anything that's good for the environment or, at least, slows down the impact we can have on it. Also, it runs on an open platform which warms my wee little tech-loving nerdy heart.

I like tech and love the idea of a T3 phone! +1 to you and I'll be sure to keep an eye on them.

the only problem I see with this is that it's been concepted by someone with a art degree
from an engineering standpoint, it would be almost impossible to build without some major (and I mean high-end apple) R&D

it's still an interesting concept, but I do agree that it requires some high-level R&D, specially on the component interface end.
