that is the problem, or you wouldn't be here crying about it.

once again you're coming out with things that are incorrect; stop it. learn how the game works then, and only then, make a thread about it.

You're a little slow.

Dave Stark likes to troll threads, he creates his own argument with the OP to attempt to discredit the OP and take attention away from the original point, just keep repeating the original point back to him as you are doing and he will run out of oxygen.

considering my question went unanswered for pages; it wasn't me diverting attention from the OP.

considering you don't know how the game works, it's unsurprising you don't know how trolling works.

me pointing out that you're incorrect isn't trolling; that's me just stating a fact.

Yay! Spontaneous publicity!

I would love to finance my Code enforcement actions with the sale of Strip Miners and Ice Harvester Upgrade IIs but the fact is that ganking miners for profit ended quite some time ago with the many nerfs to highsec pvp instituted by CCP at the demands of the carebear community. Over the last several expansions the numbers of miners being killed has dropped, as reported by CCP, to an all time low.

The New Order ganks miners specifically as a reaction to this continued "WOWazation" of Eve to make the point that Highsec is still not safe and that carebears in general, and miners in particular, are asking for changes that ruin the very thing that makes Eve the best MMO out there.

New Order ganks, as described before, are funded by the generous donations of the shareholders of the New Order. The speed at which we have run through 111 billion ISK of Catalysts is proof that no one is getting rich doing this (except the Catalyst and Ion Blaster II manufacturers). I personally have stopped requesting refunds and am now backed by individual sponsors and by one of my alts' vast shadow economic empire.

The reason I can't be stopped is not because ganking is an unequal ISK exchange. I can't be stopped because I am a fanatic and a true believer in the New Halaima Code of Conduct. The continuing disbelief by not only the OP but much of the highsec bot aspirant community that someone would do something that wasn't profitable is a wall we Knights are attempting to batter down daily. When a miner realizes that his wallet full of ISK can't save him from me and that he actually has to change his ways and PLAY the game, we take a small step to a better game.

TL/DR: I'm a zealot who kills miners because I believe they need to change their ways or be driven to extinction.

All Highsec miners must follow the New Halaima Code of Conduct or be subject to bumping or ganking.  No permit, no mining. www.minerbumping.com

Since it is impossible to get ganked in high sec if you are at the keyboard and paying attention then it's probably the people getting ganked that are intentionally stupid.

Not really true. A well-executed ambush will kill, even when you've got folks actively at the keyboard and paying attention. That's *why* it's called an ambush.

Funny stuff! But can we please stop calling gankers "PvPers?" High sec gankers are just a predatory type of Carebear. Read the poem "Georgie Porgie."

To be honest SR, I am perfectly fine with that. You seek a change in game play, using game play mechanics that protect you at the same time, it is your every right as a paying customer.

But let's face it. Your Alt is Care Bearing it up and is invulnerable. You are having your cake and eating it too.

If you had the courage of your convictions you would publicize this Alt Industrialist's ID and we would then see just how much you enjoyed having your enterprise dismantled by those you could never touch.

I as well do not want AFK miners to be untouchable. However, for you to be able to do so with impunity is the issue.

BINGO!

We have a winner!

Ganking is among the least skilled forms of PVP in eve. When you can't be shot at until you attack your victim with overwhelming force it is not hard or challenging in the slightest.

I dont know SR personally... but i think in the event the above happened, would be accepting of the fact that stuff like that happens in EVE, and would go about finding out how to get back at the ones who dismantled said empire.

And props to him if he did!

Of course, he could also claim he was a competitor industrialist (tho a violation of the ToS) and then watch gleefully as he gets taken down.

We all do enjoy the subterfuge of Eve.

However, as much as we all have enjoyed his posts if this really is a great crusade he surely wouldn't mind things being made a little more challenging for his dedicated ganking alt?

This entire thread is not about ending Ganking or Hi Sec PVP or making Bot Mining more efficient. It is about turning Hi-Sec Ganking *into PvP*.

Well, then, please share with us your assessment of how hard it is to scan someone down while sitting in the open safe as can be and then attacking them and winning virtually every time a shot is fired because they cannot attack you first?

I like this post because I find the campaign you are doing very interesting, I think the question to you is would you like to have to work at it a bit more trying to avoid miners trying to kill your catalysts for revenge, I would hope your answer is yes. If this change was ever to happen I think I would go mine in a Coveter and not a Skiff.

In regards to you comment about a lot less mining ships being destroyed, can you honestly look me in the eye and say that before the mining ships were improved it was not too easy, I remember a tanked Hulk being destroyed and the pilot podded by a single Catalyst in a 0.7 system. And all the mining ships were terrible, with the tank of a wet paper bag, now I can sit in a Skiff and can make myself very hard to kill. Of course I could be but that would require work and I guess a reason, you guys could obviously do that. In itself the reduction in destroyed ships is not a bad thing as long as there are people like you targetting those that do not tank or bot or AFK mine, but before it was too easy even on those that did do things right.

Anyway I have only lost one mining ship and that was in NPC 0.0 and was a truly funny loss...

Edit: Ganking is not as easy as people think by the way, at least not now...

When the going gets tough the Gankers get their CSM rep to change mechanics in their favour.

I don't recall using that word in the context of this post. Not Easy != hard. There's degrees to things.

Of course it's completely different to fighting in 0.0, this is comparing apples and oranges.

It's just not *quite* as easy as point and shoot. It takes some prep, some planning, and a bit of luck. That's not necessarily "easy".

Depends on what lands in the Bubble. Is it a 30 ship Goon roam or is it a Badger? Is it a 100mn Tengu roam or is it a Heron?

You see, my friend, we break up bubble camps all the time and get ours broken up. You sit in the open taking all comers.

Yes, it is harder because you never know who is gonna land in it or hot drop a fleet on your ass. That little frig you just insta-popped might have been the lead scout of greatly superior force.
