Hello people of Eve online.

For all of you who are wondering who I am in game and out, I'll give you a piece of my story. I used to play eve online back in the early 2000s. I started in Eve as a newbie who started a career in mining. In the early days of eve, they did not have mining frigates. I had to mine in a slasher. Then I'd mine up ore in a Stabber. By the time I started mining in a stabber with T2 miners I had put together a newbie mining operation. I had started a production line of light frigates and cruisers to sell to the people who mined for me. I'd offer them a mining ship if they needed one, then give them a mining order to pay it off. Back then people were pretty honest for the most part, they didn't want to ruin their reputation. Afterall this was the beginning of Eve online and the new alliances were popping up all over.

Many people from beta moved straight over to null sec to stake their claim. I started working with a fellow who had an APOC.
Not many people had trained up to fly an apoc yet, so seeing someone in one meant they had started on day one and trained for it. At the time the Apoc was the best mining ship there was, he took over my mining operation and brought everyone who worked for him long enough out to null sec. I followed him out to null and joined.

The Lost Boys corporation was setup in Ju-OWQ. The station in Ju was one of the very few alliance owned stations of that day. The station was owned by IRON, The Imperial Republic of the North. This old station still remains in JU-OWQ today. At first it was said that this station could never be taken, only destroyed. It's as strong as the stations in Empire space, and we were the lucky alliance that could own our own station.

Not many people would mess with IRON in the early days, we had more people who could fly battleships then any alliance. That doesn't mean they didn't get into skrimishes. I fondly remember wanting to train for a Tempest, I had a Amarr battleship before I ever had a minmatar battleship. I remember the tempest as the best sniping ship that could sit off a gate and spine people in one shot as they dashed at 10km from the gate. This was before you could even warp to 0 on a gate. People would make bookmarks to get you at 0 and sell them on the market for millions. At this time I was flying a stabber fitted with double MWD that would get me through the gate so fast it looked like I was on crack.

I spent most of my time working for IRON. I quickly trained up for an APOC and started mining crokite and bistot. So I didn't see so much PVP. I still fleeted up in large battles that made my computer stutter and shudder so hard that my battleship blew up. It was half the value of my computer in isk I had just lost, and it was like my computer felt it too.

Back in the early days, 1 million isk was worth $1 on ebay, this was before it was illegal to sell it on ebay. Those were the days when everything was in high demand. A quick jolt forward in time and Eve released T2 BPOs on the market. Anyone who was lucky enough to get a T2 BPO was going to be a billionare. Before the big T2 release there still was a Miner II blueprint out there. I was lucky enough to know the guy who had one, so I got copies in exchange for some work I did for him. That got me interested in working for more T2 producers. Everyone who had a T2 BPO needed to keep it in constant production to make the most money out of it. Their account would never be canceled, they could afford to buy plexes for just 200m. I had a stroke of good luck when the Tools needed for T2 production started to take damage and become destroyed. The market prices for the tools skyrocketed. I had so many tool spread out in various places from mission running that I was able to help people get enough to keep their factories running. Being in Iron, I had access to moon minerals , and morphite. The building blocks for T2 production. So I built up a good contract with some of them to supply them with what they needed every week and then bought a piece of their production off of them at the same time. Then I'd sell most of it in empire, and part of it in null sec.

Before I left Eve online, the war with Band of Brothers was starting to bend IRON enough that a new alliance stepped in to counter them. Though even then, to me Bob was just this new major corp that had very exclusive membership. I was lucky to be in IRON at that point. I remember hearing the news about it being announced in the corp like it was a news flash. Goonswarm Federation has joined IRON in the fight against Band of Brothers. They are fighting them using their own tactics against them. BOB had been using small ships in massive fleets to overcome the battleships and all new Dreadnoughts.

I hadn't stuck around for it, but now I see Goonswarm has taken control of the major outpost that has been a strategic point since the beginning of the game.

My return to Eve

When I returned to Eve, I found it a very different world. The corporations I once knew were gone in the wind. I kind of felt like an outsider. When I jump cloned over to JU-OWQ, the Goons got so scared of me someone screamed out "He's gonna figure out what it is!" Then they tried getting me to pay 500m to sign up to their corp. The API was what scared me, it would have given them away all my old contacts. That would have meant if any of those Tech 2 blueprint originals still existed today in the possession of my contacts, they could have stalked them until they finally gave them up to a powerful elite corporation. I had to decline the API to protect my contacts. That has kept me out of most corporations to date.

I'm sorry if I refuse the API, I will do this if I don't know you or don't trust you. Remember, you are asking me for an API because you don't trust me. The API is information that could be used against me more then it could help you understand me.

My real life story -

My real life story was so meaningful that I may have attracted enough attention to become famous.
I had the name and number that had a meaning that was symbolic to a cause. My life seemed like it was a story from out of the bible, or a comic book. My name could be translated to mean Courageous Herb, and I lived in a little green house with the address 420. While I was an eve player, I also became a cannabis activist. Everywhere I would go I would talk to people about cannabis. I felt like every person I talked to was taking the cause one step further towards acceptance. I would talk to people on the street, on the bus, and in school about cannabis and get their opinion on the issue. I had politicians showing up in the places I would frequent, and that would give me a chance to talk to them about cannabis legalization. I may even have bumped into the attorney general's mother on the bus. She got so offended she said, "Do you know who my son is?" Then she went into her purse to show me a picture. When I got off the bus there was a whole line of police cars running past me with sirens on for just the moment that they passed me.

At one point in this venture I started an organization called the GrassRoots Machine. I had come up with an idea. When I was sitting around thinking, "how can I get all these people who support cannabis legalization to do something about it." I had it! an idea that could do just that and let me earn money at the same time. I designed a postcard that said "Let this plant grow" it displayed beautiful pictures of cannabis plants on it. The pictures were so good it got people excited about it, so excited that I could get them to pay for a postcard to get sent off to their congressmen. I'd think of different things to say each time, always giving them bits of information and speeches about cannabis. I was earning money, I earned more then minimum wage on some days and I sent off 100s of postcards to congress and the senate.

This made me feel good about who I was. I was like a guy from out of a comic book, I was a guy who was like Moses, telling congress to "Let my people Grow" There was another symbolic message, other then my name and address being related to cannabis. Across the street from that little green house with the address 420, was something I took as a warning everyday. A graveyard gate stands directly across from this house and that sent me the message that was similar to the book of genesis and the Forbidden fruit. In the Hitchhikers guide to the galaxy the number 42 represents the meaning of the universe and everything. In the bible the forbidden fruit was just that, fruit that was forbidden. It was the main theme of the beginning, a tree in the center of the garden that you could not eat or you would surely die. Daily I had to convince myself not to be afraid of death, no matter how perfect thsi story was I had to be ready to surrender my life to it. That type of thinking didn't last long.
With 2012 approaching, I felt like this world could be coming to a climatic end and was wondering how real this world really is. I had the thought, Cannabis is illegal, is this world real? So I thought what if I leave this story behind and travel the world.

In 2006 I left eve online, and left my life as a cannabis activist. I had though, "If everything I have here is made in China, why not go over there and get made in China too." I left my house and my family to live in China. In China, I had a good life a very good time, a good girlfriend and some very good stories that I can share.
