4/10 EVE suffers from a lack of new content, instead the developers seem content to just keep reworking existing content, and the content that is available is very repetitive and becomes stale fairly quickly.

With that said I gave it four points because despite this the game somehow manages to remain highly addictive, which completely boggles my mind because all I'm doing are the same things over and over.

Icelandic black magic?

o\ Man, I'm the first to jump on CCP's back when they get it wrong, but obviously you don't remember how the game was during Incarna. Anybody who has been in this game any time would at least give credit to CCP, for finally putting a concerted effort into fixing what we have. Remember, the last time CCP decided to put effort into new content we ended up with the big white elephant called Incarna, that nearly destroyed the game.
The balancing CCP have done over the last 2 years, would generally be well received by most who have played the game for any length of time.
EVE is what it is, and shouldn't be made into anything different.

8/10

I've been playing for almost 4 years, have 3 accounts (had 4 for a short time) and i would give Eve a good...5/10.

I don't hate Eve. It's an amazing game and the fact i can play free (thank to plex) makes Eve even better than most games, but it has so many, many problems. Ships needed some works, but what about missions? POS? Drone UI and how ******* dumb drones are in PVE? Not much content have been added since i'm playing.

I'm one of those lucky bastards who found an awesome corp (even when i did bad things and put my corp in danger, they always been with me) and how nice are the NPC corps are the reason i'm still playing this game. What makes this game so great isn't the game, but the people playing it. I want a good chat? I log my alt in a NPC corp or i go in amarr.

The captain quarter was a good idea. Would have been nice to log in, have a walk in a station, see other players, play poker with them for isk. If we are lucky, they will finish it in 2019 (right after the pos change). They want more players so they are buffing T1 ships and increasing their cost...without increasing payout for PVE. I mean, what's the first thing you do in game for isk? Mining and missions. Is it stupidity or they simply forgot that part? Or the fact they are ******* up with the old players. You train for a hulk? Well, **** you, we are going to buff all barge so the hulk won't be the best choice anymore unless you are mining in fleet with boost. You can fly an orca? Well, too bad if you spend 60+ day to fly one, now it will takes less than 2 weeks. Freighter? Almost the same thing (3 weeks now i think).

Star citizen is coming next year (more like in 2015) and unless CCP do something, i can't see how Eve will survive. I'm not saying Eve is dying, but let's be honest, a MMO always need to add new content and at this moment, CCP fails miserably. World of tanks added more stuffs in 6 months than CCP did with Eve in 2 years.

Will i stop playing Eve? No, but i'm not having the fun i had when i started playing this game.

I'd only give eve like a 4/10.
It's just that most other MMOs on the market deserve a negative score.

Not a forum alt.
