Null sec is great only downside is that you can't get in , unless you are willing to sell your soul and independence and become part of the blob

a bit like the Borg from star trek

We are the blob , surrender your independence , your money and free time will now belong to us , you will be assimilated , resistance is futile

I do not agree with what you are saying , but i will defend to the death your right to say it...... Voltaire

What's so great about null? ''

PEW PEW. Fleet work. WH Work. Gank work. small corp roam. CTA OPS. Intricate tactics.

Before running off to null without a corp/alliance I think provi is still your best bet to have a visit in null without getting blown up as soon as you arrive and you can even dock on any station as long as you're neutral/blue to provi block.

There are others who say they are NRDS but frankly only CVA/provi block has put an actual effort to enforce it for the wider community.

I've never been in a null-sec alliance. I've never really done anything in 0.0 (unless you count WHs). But I have been tempted here and there to apply to a null corp. One reason I haven't is because I read countless amounts of whining on the forums about how terrible it is. But, I started wondering today if Null can really be all that bad.

I mean, there are a few thousand people that live out there. They can't all be bored out of their skulls or mad as hell (or bots). There has to be somebody that likes 0.0.

So, would some of you please let the rest of us know what's fun about 0.0?

Generally kicking the crap out of all those whiners that you mentioned. 0.0 takes a different attitude to survive, a mature consistent one. Otherwise your empire will rise and fall just like all the others.

Oh, btw, all those whiners you mentioned. They are mostly all goons posting, whining about how they hate 0.0 cause, lets face it, they suck at null sec. So plz don't judge all of 0.0 based on one alliances loud rantings.

Yes, nullsec is pretty terrible place.

You can be shot there without being asked to be shot at. People will kill you there. CCP needs to stop supporting such immoral players and remove nullsec completely,

Why should us players be forced into fighting people when all we want to do is mine and fly spaceships

I live in NPC space - CL-85V. I hardly ever see blobs, biggest gang I've seen in a while was a 12 drake Snigwaffe gang that came through 8G at the weekend. Usually it's small gangs and the opportunity is there to pvp. There's good isk to be made in null through PI, missions etc and it makes you think ahead each time you un dock. You'll lose your ship (and pod) in null at some point- everyone does eventually, but unlike the kids in empire, there's hardly ever any smack talk as everyone knows it could be them next time. To me, I prefer the edginess of being in null, it's the unknown, not knowing whats going to come round the corner.
On the other hand, In empire, you can fly around untouched with nothing to think about, that sounds boring to me, whats the big danger in empire ? can flippers hanging round stations flexing their uber skills ?

Null-sec is tons of fun as long as you don't have to do the eyeball-searingly boring stuff Big smile

What's fun is shooting people without worrying about convoluted aggression mechanics. You get to do that.

What isn't fun is shooting at structures. You get to do that too.

Null is great and welcoming if you are "experienced" / read player with SP to fly interdictors, fleet battleships, logistics, drake, carriers/ not so much for new corporation / read poor corporation with about dozen people online/

However once you realise what you want to do, and you realise that your own corporation cannot archieve provide it to you then the choice is simple.

And the best part is that "PvP" / read blob wars are so impersonal that you actually enjoy it. You fight because you are called you dont give a flying fart why its an call and you answer it.
