I hope with the next patch, CCP improves industrial haulers and freighters by giving them more resistances and more HP. It takes about a dozen t3 battlecruisers to kill a 7b ship. Make those pirates bleed isk for their kills :)

Also there should be a learning area, where player vs player combat would be prohibited. No more ganking of noobs, no more stealing from noobs, LEAVE THEM NOOBS ALONE!!!

I am just being constructive. Theres way too much noob killings going on and A LOT of potential 0.0 cannon fodder quits cause some retardo keeps messing with him in empire space for absolutely no reason.

I support the little man in this case, ye filthy pirate dogs!

As far as new players go, the following is what it says on the Eve Wiki:

https://wiki.eveonline.com/en/wiki/Rookie_Systems

Warning: Attempting to abuse a new player’s lack of knowledge of the game and its mechanic for your personal gain or simply for their harm is prohibited in these solar systems. This includes, but is not limited to; tricking new players into situations where you or others may open fire on them freely or scamming ISK or assets from them. Disregarding warnings to cease such behavior from authorized CCP personnel is considered to be in violation of section 6 of the EVE Online Terms of Service.

Pilots found to pursue activities against new players in other areas may be subject to further restrictions as deemed necessary by CCP Games Customer Support Team.

Standing up to those "retardo" types is best done in-game, where it might have an effect. On the forums, no one can hear you cry.

Go get a spaceship and fight back!

There has to be a Rookie Safet Protocol which would guarantee the easier learning curve for the rookie pilot. A necessarry precaution of that protocol MUST include a "No griefing, no ganking, no scamming" policy

So how are they to learn about these skills if they cannot do them?

New players are already safe from wardecs (can't dec npc corp), griefing (forbidden by EULA/TOS), the starter systems are safe from scamming (https://wiki.eveonline.com/en/wiki/Rookie_Systems) and ganking in the designated newbie systems happens very rarely due to the 1.0 security rating. Why do you feel there is a need for more hand-holding and protection?

You just failed to EVE. Forever.

Out.

Id say a 90-day anti griefing policy should be put in place until the rookies learn a bit about the game

Nothing stops them from staying inside the rookie system for whatever period of time. Why do you feel the need for more safety?

EVE doesn't strike me as a game thats supposed to hold your hand and protect you from your own ignorance, if a new player gets ganked or scammed they will hopefully learn from it, adapt, and take measures to prevent it from happening again, which is what the rookie systems are for, learning.

If they are not intelligent enough to adapt and overcome a negative situation they shouldn't be playing EVE in the first place.
