This is such weak minded drivel it's crazy. THIS is why griefers and gankers exist.

You know why I don't get griefed? Because I protect myself, when someone (rarely) gets something over on me, you know what they get from me in local? "GF". That's it.

You know what I did when I was a kid and someone took my football away? I went and get a bunch of other hard core kids, got my ball back, and took the bastards nintendo (which my dad made me give back, he then taught me that recoving what's mine is right, but retribution is beneath a Man).

The above is why I like to call attention to the misfit, to the people not mentally suiited to play this "Virtual Thunderdome" called EVE. EVE is a mad house, it's the "bad part of town" of the MMO universe, Grand Theft Auto with space ships. Even though I personally don't take part in ths madness, I understand it, I accept it, and I made sure I was mentally prepared for the pure screwery that people will throw at me.

That pure screwery IS EVE. Why people who can't take would chose to play EVE when most MMOs (including space based MMOs like TOR and Star Trek Online) actively protect players from the things EVE encourages, well, thats way beyond my ability to understand.

If a person is so weak he actually cries when something bad happens (or gets so epicly butthurt that they have to pursue the player out of game), he not only needs to no play EVE, he needs mental health intervention.

What leader, and I quote from minerbumping.com, was considered a "saviour" and "Supreme Protector" and had the objective of "the creation of a civilization", and rejected anyone not suitable for his perfect civilization?
It's clear as day where the influences of most of the postings lie.

...and that's deffinatly the last from me that I ever will say about that matter here, cause I'm stunned and physically sickened that, in this day and age, people can actually accept, let alone adhere to pseudo fascist dribble like that.

This is why the game allows it but it isn't a rule enforced.

"Fun" being relative... BECAUSE it is a game.

If my fun is bumping you off the rock you're mining and laughing at you, it's not a moral decision or in question at all. It's me manipulating space pixels.

A lot of people talk about how mining is "fun" because they socialize and it's "relaxing" but the act of mining isn't what that does.

The socializing does. They can do that docked, over ts3, whatever.

Since they undocked, they are in the same pond as everyone else, and unfortunately, someone is bound to pee in it. But that is a known, and accepted, risk of playing in Eve Online.
