No... Much like me, hes probably pointing out that your tragedy you think everyone should stop still for, while other tragedies you ignore. I should imagine it's also pointing out that a lot more than 3000 people have been killed in other tragedies, but you don't expect everyone to stop and think about them.

Exactly, not to sound harsh but: EVE is an Icelandic game and the playerbase comes from ALL over the world.
9/11 was 12 years ago, and while it was a tragedy, you have to understand that for countries that are not America, having people point out what a tragedy this particular event was despite there being many like it makes the American people come off as a bit self centered to the rest of the world.

Again, Im not anti American, this is just an honest observation.

Not all victims of the moslem attack on the WTC were American, in fact they came from ALL over the world.

Pretty much this....

In Rwanda at least 500,000 died, or the equivalent of more than one 9/11 every day for 3 months.
But most americans can't even find Africa on a map, let alone one African country. (Remember, the u.s. is a country that had a person chosen to run in the v.p slot of a federal election who thought Africa was a country.)

Sorry all you u.s. patriots, but Sept 11th, 2001 is far more important for the geo-politocal shifts that occurred as a result of it , compared to the lives lost that day. I remember walking into the office the next day and having 3 managers talking about it right next to me. I said "welcome to Fortress America", and they had no clue what I meant.

12 years later, the whole world understands that.

If you are going to try to speak intelligently about something, spelling "muslim" properly might be a good idea.
And btw, this was an attack by 13 extremists, not an entire religion.

So do it, we're sick of you "helping" us.

While you're at it stop arming "freedom fighters", exporting your laws via coercion, your litigation "culture", your corrupt banking practices, your religious extremism, your version of history via hollywood and your political agendas.

HAHAHAHA!
Stop "helping" everyone then. Since your idea of "helping" people is bombing everyone (allies included) then swooping in to deploy democracy anywhere you see oil reserves.
Obama sure seems like he wants to go into Syria. Waiting around for any excuse to go diving in and scoop up the profit. Never mind that it's against UN rulings. Never mind that you don't know who launched the chemical attack. Never mind that the Syrian rebels proved in march they had access to chemical weapons. Never mind that the Syrian rebels are made up of the very same terrorist organisations that attacked you on 9/11. There's oil in Syria, so those people need helping! Charge!

We have "proof" tho! Just like we had "proof" for going to Iraq. We just seemed to have misplaced it somewhere.. hang on we'll find it here soon.

Syria doesn't have oil reserves. Well, not like other areas in the Middle East. But they are a long term obstacle to Zionist dominance in the region. But that's another discussion.

You two must be the ones that break that "moment of silence" when it is asked for to yell out, "Hey other people died too!"

If you want to remember other tragedies, start a thread on those days. I promise not to **** up your thread if you can be a decent person hold your breath in this one.

Just sayin'

Erm no, not quite. I observe a silence when a silence is due. I just don't agree with every 9/11 having to see posts and articles everywhere with Americans demanding we remember them. Not only do you blatantly ignore other far worse tragedies throughout history, you were in fact the cause of several. If you want to go to a US forum and all observe silence, feel free, but don't expect a global community to join in willingly just because you think you're more important than everyone else.

That's funny, I don't recall the OP demanding anything. He asked for a moment of your time to remember those who died on this day.

I guess in your own way, you've given that moment. Thanks.

If you'd care to share your tragedies, I'll be glad to ignore them as blatantly as I can.

I don't judge people by their race, religion, color, size, age, gender, or ethnicity. I judge them by their grammar, spelling, syntax, punctuation, clarity of expression, and logical consistency.

Been using moslem since I was a kid and that's how all the text books spelled it. Indeed I never realized why it had changed but since already 2 people have mentioned it here I did some research.

This site here makes interesting reading, http://hnn.us/article/524

"A Muslim in Arabic means"one who gives himself to God," and is by definition, someone who adheres to Islam. By contrast, a Moslem in Arabic means"one who is evil and unjust" when the word is pronounced, as it is in English, Mozlem with a z"

Now I am even more convinced that Moslem is the correct word for them and will keep using it till the politically correct crowd go blue in the face.

I think I will create a similar post next July 22nd to remember another terrorist bombing that killed 91 people from many nations. Then sit back and see how many people clue in on what that was, or why it is important.

I see Amerikkka spelled like this all the time. I know it to be a derogatory term though so I abstain from doing it. Moslem is the equivalent.

Moslem is about as outdated as Mussulman, it's the arabic equivalent to the N word, and probably just as offensive.
