Wormholes

There are already a few write ups of this incidence floating around the corp blogs, which are linked in my bio. While this happened about a month ago, a member of our corporation has been putting together the video/sound ever since the incident, and I'm quite impressed with what he did. (Thank you, BlakPhoenix.)

We haven't spent much time discussing this on forums, but, for the record, it went something like this:

Our scout ended up tackling a hauler on a C4 wormhole connected to our C3 static. As he jumped through in anticipation of our fleet landing atop the hauler momentarily, he stated yelling on comms, "There's two Machariels here!" 1 dead machariel, rapier, hauler, and Sin later, the ship's former owners wouldn't convo us and we actually went and bashed the tower in the video for a while. We were hoping it was not stronted, but, it turned out, too many of our people had to go to bed, so we abandoned it. Fast forward 24 hours:

The machariel pilot we ganked wanted revenge because their CEO was evicting them from the corp/wormhole as our kitchen fleet sink stormed through their exit and intercepted them. The CEO had 4 logi on standby and refused to drop them, because, well, he was evicting them. I guess assuming they were out for good, the CEO didn't bother changing the password on the POS, and since we had been planning to burn that tower down for the ships featured in the video, we had a scan alt in system.... I think the wormhole community can connect the dots and figure out what happened. (Hint: watch the video, and if you have any questions about what happened.... well, you shouldn't.)

In getting the tower password from the former machariel owner, I also found out something interesting: he was being evicted, because the hole had a neutral thanatos pilot flying around in it, and he tried to buy the Thanatos out from under his CEO. Why did he try to by said Thanatos out from under him? Because, as he point blank told us, he was plotting to take the wormhole over from his CEO. Bob is an angry, but apparently just Bob. So, pilot and co. try to screw CEO, CEO tries to screw pilot and co. back, and, well, we end up intercepting all of them and enjoying the spoils of one of the most interesting few nights I've ever had in wormhole space. Nights like this are why I founded -EOL, poured my blood, sweat, and tears into it, and why I still put in all the ridiculously long hours a wormhole CEO is expected to.

Suppose we'll just have to fight properly next time, then. No more sitting on a hole with our pants down waiting for our turn.

I've seen level 4 mission videos with more action than yours.

How were the guardians fitted? Some Guardian fits are ludicrously expensive. The other ships, yeah, but Guardians were possibly worth it.

Confirming Guardians were faction fit, and the two Loki were unfit, with no way to fit them. We were told they were shiney fit, but when they were boarded... nothing. All the tech 2 fittings were in a can with a ton of ammo.

A most enjoyable, not combat focused video. Some choices like the sort of ship boarded were beyond my understanding, but +1 for nice story consistently told.

Yeah, to be honest, the music selection was my favorite part of the video. The creator did a really good job.
