Ran into a Mobile Warp Disrupter out in space the other day. I was surprised to find I could operate my microwarp drive while inside the effects of the bubble. Is that supposed to be the case? I have always been under the impression that you cannot operate a MWD inside a warp disruption bubble. It is possible someone from my corp may have anchored it, does that matter? (Again I was under the impression it did not) If my experience was indeed not a bug, is this the same experience for the bubbles placed by interdictors and heavy interdictors?

You've always been able to use a MWD in bubbles of all kinds.

Pretty much part of the reason why an MWD is essential in nullsec.

Not sure that anything can shut down a MWD aside from scramblers and (indirectly) neuts.

Also the player by clicking on the mwd button directly or the assigned shortcut key.

Also the player overheating the MWD and burning it out

A microwarp drive isn't so much a warp drive as a really big afterburner. It doesn't carry many of the benefits that true warp does (target immunity for one), and also doesn't carry the detriments (warp disruption vulnerability). They didn't used to be vulnerable to scrams either, but that was added in a while back as an exception.

And also if the player is running an active hull tank.

Point first, immediately regret later.

This is very weird as just yesterday I was caught in a bubble and I couldn't activate my MWD until I got out of it, infact a few hours ago I got warp disrupted by a hawk and I couldn't activate my MWD although a scrambler is supposed to do that not a disruptor..

I think the battle fever catches you somewhate fiercely negating usual though processes...

The obvious solution is to pvp a lot more.. gradually the heartbeat slows down a bit and you find your intellect less affetced.

EDIT: Also turn the sound off. No one can think straight when Aura says "you can not warp because you are warp scrambled"

I hear that if you have 0 structure, your MWD desactivate. Can someone confirm?

Not really, in lowsec/FW an MWD can be a liability in a frigate as all the other frigates will likely be AB fit and if you get scrammed by an AB frig you're pretty much boned.

However it only really applies to frigates as other ships are just too slow with only an AB so yeah, you're partially right.
