Why can't you simply pay off your own bounty? Instead of having get yourself killed to remove it? If I have a 100million bounty why on earth can I not just pay it off myself. Even if you want to go as far as saying "Well now listen here sir, the actual value of a 100million bounty is 500million in assets" it dosn't even matter the option to pay 500million to clear your 100million bounty should be available.

Because the person who put if on you did not do so just so you could pay it off. But you can pay me 100mil not to put a 10 mil bounty on you.

please do theres a reason I used an alt for this

The point being you can already pay off your bounty, fly roughly the right value ship into any ls where anyone is. So why not just make it payable.

Whoa there big dog! Slow down. Why on earth would yiu just willingly throw 5x the amount of your bounty worth of ship into the fire!?! That is rediculous! Just go pvp like normal and eventually you will have no bounty.

On a side note, I am quite jealous. Every noob and his brother whine about their unfair bounty. I am a bad person who does bad things to good people and no one ever puts a bounty on me.

I got mine by flipping a can near Jita. They didn't even shoot at me, they just started talking about how utterly unimportant I was, and how I shouldn't get involved in stuff above my pay grade, and spent the next 3 days threatening to make me ragequit, when the only thing that bothered me was having my evemail start blinking every 10 seconds when they put a new 100k on me from a different alt.

So, if you want a bounty, go near Jita, but not to New Order space, and flip cans for fifteen or twenty minutes. Right next to rookie systems seems ideal. Judge Onyx is a particularly obliging sort of good sport.

I know a guy who hung out in the rookie help channel and managed to get a 100 mill bounty just for showing the rookies all the scammers in the channel.

So there ya go..:)

I kinda like OP's idea, it'd add another ISK sink. That said how many people would use it? Do many people care about removing their bounties?

Sometimes i put a bounty on myself just for vanity sake. The wanted sign looks good on some days
