Level 4 minmatar mission runners please read.

If you have diplomacy 4 and run the data centers, copper tags and graduate certs, for both minmatar and gallente you will be able to fly in both factions space no problem.

I just did that with an alt she had -10 with gallente. Social skills 4... Its 3 copper tag missions and 3 cert missions for each faction.

You will need 9 Serpentis copper tags for Gallente and 9 Angel Copper tags for Minmatar.

That's all the op needs which will allow travel into Minmatar space free from Navy attack. Course if you actually understood how standings worked, you'd already know that.

Ahhh, another one to jump on the band wagon.

Diplomacy level 5 will raise a -10.00 Faction standing up to -6.00 Faction standing. At level 4 it's even lower. I seriously doubt you did those missions dealing with mission NPC's while at the same time being attacked by Faction Navy NPC's. As I stated above, please post picture link showing transaction records of missions or it never happened.

Anyway, doesn't matter. There's plenty of options on the table now for the op to choose from.

If you are doing a gated mission in hostile high sec can the Faction Police (and concord for that matter) still warp to you?

I assume yes but I don't actually know for definite.

Attacks against a character are completely legit. Especially a counter attack against an entire race of Characters.

Cipher, you're usually a pretty good poster and provide pretty good information. For some reason, you've wigged out in this thread. Very weird. DMC, you should know better as well. Never seen you lose control before.

All the information about data centers and such is included in DMC's plan. It also provides a complete order of operations. It will be interesting to see what you decide to do the NEXT time your standings fall below the threshold, because those options will no longer be available to you.

Now for a bit of my own advice: Keep in mind that most of the options discussed here and in the plan are one time use only. That means if you don't adhere to the Seesaw instructions, you're going to screw up your standings again sooner or later. Regardless of other methods you might use (data centers, etc), when you're talking about straight missioning, it's better to pair up with a mission runner alt once you get the faction standing over -2. You have the alt pull the L4 agent mission of the corp you want to work for and boost your AGENT standing as quickly as you can. Once you have access to the L4 agent, you can bring up your faction standing more quickly by pulling the missions yourself. If you happen to choose Ministry of Information, Expert Distribution, Brutor Tribe, or Impetus, your corporation standings will allow you to start the Epic Arcs whether your faction standing is high enough or not.

I was going to reply with The Faction Repair Plan, but DMC hit it already. The Plan rocks, quite simply. Recovered from -5.x in short order, and was quickly into L3 & L4 agents. No mission sharing, just the Plan and some simultaneous L1's with a SB Ashimmu.

The Plan rocks, but plan it carefullly.

Yes.

Concord and Navy NPC's go everywhere, they don't use gates.

Well, the trick is to not fall below the threshold again.

After working to repair the negative Faction standings, the player should have access to the Epic Arcs which can be used every 3 months to keep them above the threshold of -2.00 Faction standing, provided they used the starting agents corporation for standing access.

Did you bother to read what I wrote?

You go to agent, accept mission, turn in tags.... DONE
You go to agent, accept mission, run to station and pick up cert, return to agent and turn in... DONE

There is no fighting NPC's at all for any of them.

And yes, if you are slow the Faction Police will get shots in on you, but run around in a noob ship and be done with it. There is no reason to lose your ship, unless your slow.

They're the same as the first part of the plan. The plan just takes the time and text to explain the entire faction standing game. If simplicity is the goal, the first post in every thread asking about faction standing would be a link to the plan, rather than a week-long post/counterpost of various bits and pieces of the subject.

all from just highsec agents. I ran all 5 in both systems off to the third one now.

I should be above 0.0 after this last batch.

Yes, Career agents are a springboard or shortcut to storyline missions.... (you only need to complete 10 easy missions to get to a storyline mission plus the exploration career agents offer even fewer missions to get to storyline.)

However, I did mangle my Amarr and Caldari standings a bit... Caldari is now down to 7 and Amarr down to 5.97.

This is going to be a tough balancing act. Keep at least one clone in a Minmatar system and the other in Amarr.

I'm currently having to run a few Amarr missions so my standings don't drop too low.

Which means I need to grind more Minmatar missions....

Is it even possible to have all four factions available with high standings or will I always have to keep adjusting faction standings to keep them all above water?
