Probably because this was something that was either complete or nearly complete and they decided to add it. It doesn't hurt in any way, I will probably almost never use it. But why not?

Looking at all the other work they have done, this, while very minor and not game affecting, is ok. It is almost on par with custom decals on your ship, which will be great for all of about 1 week, then everyone will have them and everyone will say 'meh'.

I may not like you or your point of view but you have a right to voice it.

Everyone gets shot, it's just a matter of whether you use hostile weapons or the "friendly weapon".

In EVE, everyone is a dude regardless of avatar anyway so they all get pew pew, not spoo spoo.

Also, what Andreus Ixiris said: give people the option to get stuff that is currently race locked. More choices is always better!

why is there a button for it? can't you just press the portrait?

how to fix eve: 1) remove ECM 2) rename dampeners to ECM 3) add new anti-drone ewar for caldari 4) give offgrid boosters ongrid combat value

To the team that did it, nice work- it looks good and you all did a great job.

It's not a huge thing in terms of what's really anticipated but you don't deserve to have something you worked on driven down the crapper simply because of the NeX.

This is great addition for the eye candy. I think this is very nice balance between spaceships and WiS for added content. Just my opinion , please do not turn WiS into a Micro transaction festival. it will kill WiS.

I'm not going to use it. But it doesn't affect my gameplay. So... +1, and hope that those who love spinning people in space find it worth it

As it can take some time for the character to load, we wanted to make sure people would only be opening the Avatar Viewer if that was what they intended to do, and not opening it by accident when trying to move the portrait window or something like that Smile

This would be nice except that there's no variety in clothing. The only way to fix that is to ditch Aurum and the Nex store, get a few artists producing clothing full time, and allowing players to manufacture it.

If you don't do that, you may as well give up on WiS because we all will look the same forever.
