That just saved that little diplomat of yours.

Don't take it so serious. I was just poking fun of your aggressive tendencies.

You might want to look in to the philosophies of the Id, Ego and Super-ego.
As I understand you, you want to destroy your Id, the natural, or animalistic drive and let the Super-ego take control, but if that is what you want, why not join Sansha's Nation? Then you will be one with it all and have no drive but to be a cog in the machine. You can then also fight all of everything that isn't a cog in the machine.

Well, that is certainly a different take on asceticism, Diana. Ascetics eschew material wealth and worldy pleasures as an aid to physical, and metaphysical enlightenment.

Understanding of the myriad mysteries of the universe, it's a noble path to take, IMO, even if it is a quiet life of self-denial and contemplation. Molding yourself with it to become a more efficient tool for the State does not do that concept any justice, and I would daresay any monastary that teaches that is not engaging in philosophical and enlightened understanding, but indoctrination.

Philosophy is not about conformity, my dear Diana, and not about subservitude to the State, or an Empire, or any governmental body. It is a search for truth and enlightenment, both in the universe around us, and within ourselves. You said something to the effect that our inability to break out of our inviduality constricts philosophy, but IMO the reserve is true: It is our individuality and freedom of thought that allows us to tread new grounds in philosophy, in poetry, in art, and in all things creative. You can follow the ascetic life without sacrificing your individuality, or freedom, in your search for enlightenment.

Like you, I have followed orders when given, Most of the men and women that I have killed have been at close quarters. Its not something that I shut out or feeling nothing for. It has to be done, people die in war and die in droves, whether they are pirates, caldari, or amarr, or anyone else. But, I do remember them, and I do regret this necessary thing that I have done., maybe it does not make me a perfect cog in the machine...

On the other hand, a cog only turns in place until it burns out and is replaced, and that is the totality of its existence... Not much in the way for growth or enlightenment, or philosophy, or even merit, if you ask me.

Your own mileage may vary.

You know, my offer is still open to come to Intaki and talk, take in some scenery, maybe argue a while if thats what you want, discuss a bit of philosophy, and do some fishing.

In my case, I suppose it is a little Intaki, rather than Gallentean.

Sansha nation don't help you to become stronger. They simply replace that little gallentean in you with little Sansha. Well, I would better say with big one Sansha, that totally dominates your own personality and tells you "I WANT IT AND I NEED IT".
I don't know, is it possible to fight this Sansha, but the fact is, that you become part of this Nation and do really good job for supporting this. However, there are two problems.
First, the Nation is not exactly a society, but rather an extension of a single man vision. You don't work for others, you work for a single man to make HIS dreams true, HIS plans for his own sake. Not for those, who are around you.
Second, the Nation forcefully dictates you what to do. You don't have this gallentean in your head anymore, and you don't fight him. Both strong and weak persons act the same: as mindless drones, following will of their master. Your willpower is absent. You can't develop it. You can't become stronger. When you will join ancestors, you will be a weakling... if Sansha drones would ever join them...

There is no merit in being a puppet, if you follow your master because you are programmed to do so, but not because of your own duty and willpower.

Enjoying freedom is decadence, it is the worst form of hedonism. It is the most low and filthy savagery, that could disgrace a human being!

It is not 'freedom' 'allowed' us to be plugged into a pod, but rather duty. If you had a freedom, would you kill yourself so your memories would be used to become a part of a spaceship?...

What are you talking about?! Freedoms allowed to build... starships?!!
It is our WILL and DETERMINATION that made us able to build starships.
If FREEDOM would dominate us instead, we would be jumping naked around starship parts and fires, making crazy orgies and throwing strarship parts at each other. Or just take them with us to make stupid things with them, like incomprehensible art...

Diana is right. We must kill the Gallentean inside.

Or else he might burst out of your stomach and eat your face. I have seen in a documentary film that this can happen... At least I think it was a documentary.

Mmm... thank you for your answer.

Mr. Vachon, the search for truth and enlightenment is the path you choose to develop yourself. And you must do it not for your own sake, but for those, who are around you. Our own lives are insignificant. But what I am talking about, would allow you to follow the path you choose without distractions. Those little gallenteans, who will scream like animals in your head, will be distracting you and push you away from the path towards truth and enlightenment for you to follow the path of hedonism and self pleasuring.

Individualism is also a path to destruction. We ourselves are just shattered glass. Each of us have some color, but only together we can bring great mosaic, that will inspire both ourselves and future generations. Should we stay as individual piece of colored glass, there's nothing good can emerge. And the freedom is even worse. It is the force that won't allow you to take the place of mosaic, that you have to take, forcing you to jump and lay randomly. If all pieces will be individual and free, they will just make useless disgusting mound of colored glasses, that will be breaking each other when they will trying to move as they want.

Individualism and freedom are the most dangerous and destructive concept that human mind could invent. They should be left behind and forgotten, as a dead end of both human and society development. We will step over them and will head towards brighter future without such wild, degraded and savage concepts.

We are Humans, not Animals.

Honored are the dead, for their legacy guides us.

I've spent a fair amount of time in the Federation in the past, and I can say with a fair amount of certainty that at no point was I ever hit by a flying starship part thrown by a naked person at an orgy. I did tend to be based out of a Minmatar station at the time, so perhaps I walked in the wrong social circles. However I am suddenly curious to see the federation again in search of these mystical jumping naked people.

You'll have to speak up, I'm wearing a towel.

Pilot Kim has a little Gallentean inside of her?

Congratulations, is it a boy or girl, when's it due, who's the father and how's Tibus taking this betrayal of your well speculated relationship?

So lets review this per point.

Sex, well, if you only reproduce then why not eliminate sex althogeher? I'm sure you could have all the children reproduced under lab conditions.. well you might even choose to eliminate certain undesired genes, eye color, competences.. the perfect slaves. ( kinda reminds me of the Sansha Nation this one )

Decadence while enjoying freedom? My my, then i suppose Philosophy is a form of decadence, so is music and other cultural arts, the same arts that the State allows its citizens to enjoy now and then.

Still we Caldari aren't held as savages due to our culture and respective cultural activities.. in fact, look at the Amarrian culture, a more strict culture then ours that aparently also emphasises the importance of culture in ones life.

And still on freedom, the freedom granted to us by the State to be allowed to be plugged in a starship, the same freedom you have to fly a ship unmolested, the same freedom you have to choose your role in the state.

May i remind you Miss Kim that duty and honour walk with hand to hand, not blind obedience and subservience

Hmm, I didn't realize that the knee to your gut would have jarred something loose in your head.

Though I do appreciate the attempt you take at trying to address an issue you seem to have, perhaps you should be taking it up with the little Gallente that's inside you? Or is trying to get inside you? Or trying to get out of you? I can't seem to figure out what you are attempting to explain, but either way, you might want to see a doctor about this condition.

I would sign for this! Of course, without Sansha extremism part and slavery bullshit.

Your suppose is completely incorrect and would suit uneducated gallentean, but not a Caldari citizen! Think about what are you saying! Philosophy, music and cultural art is not decadence, unless they come from Federation. Because when their source is federation, then they are soaked with destructive ideals of freedom.
