I can confirm that the only time I don't get the loot is that rare time when I actually kill somebody on the undock of a trade hub.

I have had 99% success rate in getting the loot when shooting at targets that's not at a trade hub. The 1 percent is picking up the loot from the guys that made the mistake of taking the loot from the wreck of my target.

My main had a loot ninja pop into a mission space a couple days ago. Briefly. He went running home with his pod on fire (how *did* I miss vaporizing it, anyway..?!).
But the story could have ended differntly - If said ninja were organized and part of a crew, I might have been the one spamming 'warp.'

Bottom line, I wanted the lootz, so I defended it. AND got to loot a Heron, as well.

Im having a hard time relating Tora (hi buddy!) to this thread. He is the best alliance ceo ive ever had to play eve with. He lets me do my own thing.....even if i get jumped by 20 haters. I use my neutral toons for other stuff. Links and logi for one.
Tora fills my milk cup...he never spills a drop.

Tonight folks we have a great film and entertainment line up for you, we have some real classics...

Starting off with;
Someone salvaged my mission

Followed by;
Ninja's looted my wrecks

Not forgetting the classic;
A bad man flipped my can

Then onto;
I failed to loot my kill even with all my neutral alts

And lastly the jewel in the crown;
I posted yet another dumb idea on the forum due to my ineptitude

Here is what i propose for the bored.

Get in a fast, stabbed frig. [Vigils work great]
Run locates on Holeysheet1
follow him wherever he goes.
Approach 0 everyone he attacks.
Set inventory to 'high value items only'
Set an overview tab to only show wrecks, celestials and stations.
As soon as you see wreck , lootall.
warp to celestial or more likely, dock up.

Profit.
