Try forcing a session change.
If that doesn't work, relog.
If that doesn't work, clear cache and relog.
If that doesn't work, file a petition (tell them you followed these steps).

Masterplan said in a different topic that ejecting from your ship is the trigger that changes your pod. That sounded in-spacy and I can confirm it works in space. Not tried in station.

Is there any chance of getting the CQ pod changing too perhaps in a future update?

Seems silly but it really will make the golden pod that bit more worth having plugged in.
