It would be nice if when I’m scanning down a WH if the Identification of said WH would display in the Scan Window. So if I’m look for A641’s or a R051 WH it would say it in the green box, once I get it scanned to maybe 80%, so then I do not have to warp to it and then select the show info, with the Radial menu of course, to see what type of Hole it is and then have to rinse and repeat 6 more times and then go to the next system. Just something like “Unstable K162 Wormhole”. I’m not asking for it to show Mass, Lifetime or what dangerous parts of space it leads to.

No, because you should only know the type of wormhole for certain if there is only one in system (static) or if you warp to it and spawn it by doing so. This goes for outgoing WHs.

In highsec this shouldn't be much of an issue anyway.

Gathering information in wormholes is dangerous and should stay so.

EvE-Mail me if you need anything.

OK, let’s say you enter a C2 through a N766 to start a monthly logistics op. According to resources this C2 should have 2 Statics, a Low sec E545 and a C4 Y683 and also a K162 that you came through. You drop probes and scan out the system and find 5 WH’s on scan. Which one is the Low you need? Also are all the others K162’s? Maybe there is a U319, or S047 that would work better for your needs? So now you have to warp to each one, maybe activating it if it wasn’t previously, and then checking to see what type it is. Yes you do have a pretty good “idea” of the type for the static holes based on the Signature strength.
Don’t get me wrong I do enjoy looking at wormholes. I have seen plenty while looking for A641’s, while trying to get around a gate camp or off an island, that look like Swiss cheese. I just think it would streamline a monotonous part of the game and get it moving quicker.
