So because I, albeit unintentionally, made a statement that could be interpreted different ways, you assumed I meant to insult the Amarr.

Later, I said your statements were false and insulting to the Amarr and you still thought we were "on the same page." Why would you make that conclusion rather than any other interpretation?

Edit: Lord, let us just drop the subject, this is clearly getting us nowhere.

At least we can agree on something.

Watch_ Fred Fred Frederation_ and stop cryptozoologist! Fight against the brutal genocide of fictional creatures across New Eden! Is that a metaphor? Probably not, but the fru-fru- people will sure love it!

I support Merimeth Sarum in his call for a renewed reclaiming, for too long the Amarr empire has remained too complacent in it's dealings with other factions, it has allowed slander and heresy to blossom, it is time for that to end.

The time has come for the empire to reclaim it's former glory and liberate Federation liberals and Republic heathens from their wicked paths, it is time to do the Lord's work once more.

It is time for the Lord to drop several tonnes of logic and reality on your head. Perhaps knock some sense in ya.

It is divine mandate that the most holy Amarrian empire go forth and reclaim all nations, that they may be saved from their wickedness. For far too long we have defaulted on our obligation to deliver many a miserable wretch from the demons that control and influence. We have stood by while the wicked slander us and our righteous empire, this must end.

In this time of darkness, when supposed allies are at odds, it is time for the rightous to once more rise up into the heavens and return to the task put forth since those most ancient of times, that most holy task the Lord most high has bestowed upon us.

Yes, declare war in name of the Reclaiming on the other three major empires and watch them unite against you like the four did against Sansha. The Empire would not last. Welcome to reality-sorry if it damages your ego.

And see, this is why I can't just up and buy Thukker ice wine whenever I feel like it anymore. Every time the Amarr start having fun and thawing hearts, someone invites an armchair crusader to declare war on everyone.

Small wonder nobody outside the Empire knows any of the Scriptural passages on mercy and grace.

"What good will it be for someone to gain the whole world, yet forfeit their soul? Or what can anyone give in exchange for their soul?"

Reclaiming is not war, it is a service performed for the benefit of all unsaved souls, that they may come into holy service and be redeemed.

If not us, who? If not now, when?

Never ideally.
Reclaiming and war are the same thing, in much the same way as being executed by the sword or the firing squad. The precise methodology may differ but the end product is the same. Make no mistake zealot, we have no need of your God or your golden spires or your scriptures. Now do be a dear and run along, I'm sure you're late for prayers.

Glory to the State.

Reclaiming is not war, eh? Keep that in mind should you get your wish.

Get this through your head. We do not need nor want your Empire to "save" us. We don't need your false god and ancient lies.

Cpt. Kasaki,

obviously you've not read the bestseller "Pax Amarria". In fact Reclaiming isn't the same as war, though maybe not quite in the way my overly zealous compatriot tries to constrain it. Though I freely admit that Reclaiming can take the form of war. Anyway, just as my compatriot made a mistake in his passion, you make a mistake if you constrain what the Scriptures speak about as the 'Amarrian God'. There is no such thing.

I'd be happy to debate the finer points of this next time I visit your corporation's abode.

Godspeed.

My apologies for my error.
Given the nature of Pax Amarria, I have not set the time aside to read it, though that will be rectified shortly. However your overzealous colleague, and you need to be aware that though I cannot speak for the Gallenteans or the Matari, I cannot imagine the Caldari taking this 'lying down' so to speak. We're still teaching the last group of idiots who tried to make us live on thier terms precisely why that's such a bad idea after all.

Glory to the State.

You're wasting your breath in this particular case, Fred. It would seem that shortly after he posted this message, he entered a clone bay and never woke up.

I think it is more likely that he was simply here to stoke tensions. Whether he was actually a Holder or even Amarr is probably debatable. At best, he was a troublemaker who came to poke the Matari to see who jumped.

At worst, he was simply here because, for once, our religion wasn't being cast in a consistently negative light.

For every step we try to take forward, it seems...

"What good will it be for someone to gain the whole world, yet forfeit their soul? Or what can anyone give in exchange for their soul?"

I think dropping several kilotons of fissile material on Rova might be more effective but, that's just my opinion*.
