I have killrights on a person on my alt, I set the killrights to my entire corporation. Yet when I just engaged them my ship is concordokkend.

I have returned from a 8month away, am I missing something here?

Maybe you forgot to activate the kill right? Also when in highsec set your safety to green. This will prevent you from doing something stupid.

I did set it to my entire corp and it was showing as "active to all members of my corp"

Will do the setting though, thanks.

Follow these links, read up.

The only thing that you did by assigning the killright to your corp was make it so that no other pilots could activate it.

You can do this from the overview. Once you activate the killright that guy gets a suspect flag for 15 minutes which means that you and everyone else around can legally kill him.

Once you engage him you both also get a Limited Engagement flag that will last for as long as there is activity in the fight, so the Suspect Flag 15 minute timer really doesn't matter once the fight starts.

And so easy that everyone can break it. I had 2 killrights on myself that I wasted on losing shuttles to my alt Twisted

You should not have your safety on red in hisec. Setting it to red is the equivalent of saying "Oh mighty CONCORD, please liberate my pod from the ship it is in."

If you can legally shoot, you can do so with your safety on green.
