-- Ransoms are temporally not honored in High Sec--

So time to time I run into situations where a perfectly good ransom opportunity presents itself. While I do enjoy the smell of a smoldering wreck, sometimes I would just rather have the isk flash my wallet and save the trouble of reshipping for the unfortunate pilot.

EVE being EVE, it's very difficult for pirates, not belonging to a notable group, to extract a ransom due to lack of trust and insurance. I tried to look around for any ransoms lists, but apart from a few known corps declaring them honoring ransoms, i was not able to find any, thus I decided to go ahead and create my own.

This is more intended for my personal use to have as a direct feedback link for my future "customers", but might as well try and grow it into something bigger if there will be any interest.

P.S. I will keep a ransom counter as long as i get reports. Hope ransoming and actually getting paid will catch on.

Q: How does the list work?
A: To get registered, you need to ransom someone (duh) and ask them to give a positive feedback in this thread. After it's posted send PM to Zosius with a screenshot of wallet transaction and link to a post.
Q: Can I register before ransoming to declare my intentions officially?
A: Yes. Send PM to Zosius and I will add your name with the date and ransom count as 0.
Q: What are the three lists?
A: 3 minimum honored ransoms shows the commitment to the ransoming business. Pending is the trial period and betrayal is the list of someone taking the isk and blowing the ship anyway.
Q: I ransomed, got the isk, but did not deaggress in time and me and/or corpmates blew the ship. What now?
A: Send the isk back to the victim. Otherwise this will be considered as a betrayal and will forfeit all your "stats"
Q: Can I use my alts/friends to endorse me?
A: No, feedback must be by legitimate victim.
Q: What's stopping me from using my alts/friends to endorse me with fake ransoms?
A: Nothing, however for first timers I will do a background check of killmails, corp history and etc to find connection with the victim. I will keep a track of such cases.
Q: In the past I did not honor my ransoms. Can i still apply?
A: Yes, we only care about ransoms after registration
Q: Can I report someone who is not honoring ransoms but is not registered here?
A: No, we only care about club members.
Q: How do I report betrayal?
A: PM Zosius with chat logs, loss mail and a wallet transaction screenshot.

I was ransomed by Solitary Pal for 200m isk. After I paid him, he let me go. Would pay him again.

You may as well just add "The Bastards" as they always honour them. They're more interested in ISK and piracy than whoremails.

I can only add individuals due to accountability. If your group is known for honoring ransoms, there's no need to be on the list. it's more for lone wolfs and very small gangs to improve their ransom payment ratio by having a feedback thread

I honor ransoms, except in rare situations where someone has REALLY, REALLY pissed me off (like if someone accused me of being a child molester or a Justin Bieber fan).

Blowing up a paying customer is bad business.

While I cannot show a ransom atm people have been very suspicious lately, I can behalf of all of Sickology say we honour ransoms. If one of my members doesnt, he will be kicked and reimbursement paid.

Dear OP, kindly add the corporation the united [bl3h] or conveniently the alliance Negative Ten. [RED10] to your list.

We always honor our ransoms of ships and pods as well as any given 1vs1/duel we might partake in.
While we will ransom people arbitrarily, we are always open for a ransom plea and will listen to a motivating offer.

Tagged as favorite. I don't really plan on getting into a situation where I can be ransomed, but who does? If I do, I'll try to come check this list before I pay.

Cool idea, whether I ever use it or not, I approve.

While I wouldn't call it a ransom, but rather a "test of faith," I often hold all of a players assets, and all I ask is for them to pass a series of tests including singing fun songs on teamspeak.

I can provide references, though I imagine many will naturally just pop up here in this thread spontaneously. Not a single client has lost my game who has followed all of my instructions. I am nothing without my honourable reputation.
