EVE New Citizens Q&A

I am new to Eve and have been running a few Lvl 1 Plexs for the ISK. but every now and then I see another ship just lurking in he last room. are they waiting for anything special? I've had a few convos with them and it all seems quite hush hush any incite would be appreciated.

I Think I will run one today after DT and see if I can find one where the last room hasn't already been killed and see what all the fuss is about

1/10 rated complexes only allow in frigate or smaller hulls.
2/10 rated complexes only allow in destroyer or smaller hulls.
3/10 rated complexes only allow in cruiser or smaller hulls.
4/10 rated complexes only allow in battlecruiser or smaller hulls.
5/10 rated complexes only allow in battleship or smaller hulls.

1/10 rated complexes can drop small c-type deadspace loot.
2/10 rated complexes can drop small b-type deadspace loot.
3/10 rated complexes can drop small a-type deadspace loot.

4/10 rated complexes can drop medium c-type deadspace loot.
5/10 rated complexes can drop medium b-type deadspace loot.
6/10 rated complexes can drop medium a-type deadspace loot.

7/10 rated complexes can drop large c-type deadspace loot.
8/10 rated complexes can drop large b-type deadspace loot.
9/10 rated complexes can drop large a-type deadspace loot.
10/10 rated complexes can drop large x-type deadspace loot.

Only 1/10 and 2/10 rated static complexes are shown on the map. All others must be scanned out. Lower security space will have higher rated complexes.

Note also that the above does not apply to COSMOS complexes, i.e. the rating may not limit ship hulls and they have different loot drops. COSMOS static complexes above 2/10 are also shown on the star map.
