For me I scann for ships and I see them in the scanner list but nothing on the map, like no red dots or cicrcles....its imposible to do anything right now.

Not impossible, just too much work to be worth it.
Now that you mention it, I should go run highsec complexes since nobody else will be able to scan them down.

Ahh the competition...

TLDR: Scanning works just fine. Just scanned down a 30 sig C5 no problems. (took me ~35 minutes total)

Anyone found a work around for scanning. Without the dots I have no way of centering the probes. Any thoughts?

It helps for me if I select the sigs (with >0%) in the list, then the dots for those sigs will show up, but it does not help to select all at once if there is a subset with 0% in the list.

-Combat scanners are essentially useless now. You get the % if you hit a ship with your probes but you don't get any kind of indicator showing where the result is so you can't narrow it down. If you want to combat scan someone you have to know where they are or try your luck 'hot and cold' style.

-The dropdown menu where you can create new filters and clear ignored results sometimes doesn't work at all.

-When scanning sigs with core probes and you get a low % result like 2-10% you don't get a red indicator in space so you can't narrow the scan down. This seems to only happen if you hit the sig with only one or two probes.

-Random WTF bugs that can't be explained in text.

I'm currently facing exactly this tonight. The strange thing is, it wasn't the case yesterday so it looks like today's patch broke it for me.
Actually it's the "bubble" which is broken, not the initial scan phase. When I scan and get a very low response (like 1%), I also get the "0 m" and no bubble on the map. As soon as I have enough strength for a circle or better, everything goes back to normal.

Nope. Warpto is fine, but....

Initial red spheres on system entry, still missing.

No red dots on signature returns above 0% unless the sig is selected in the probe window.

Red dots @ 0% only show if your probes are currently covering them.

scanning is super messed up atm

http://i.imgur.com/J40fEew.png

i ran this scan 4-5 times in the same spot, trying to get the distance to match the actual distance

as you can see i am inside my own probe result range (on GRID with the targets) with 0.5 AU probes, yet the result is saying 32.99 AU. maybe this has to do with where i launched the probes/where i scanned them FIRST (32.99 AU away), and it "remembers" that info and doesnt replace it with the new info

idk i havent tested it much, i just know its not working at all. here's another pretty weird example
http://i.imgur.com/QiUBVPy.jpg
every single result is at 262 KM, even though they clearly arent all at 262 KM away

i have no idea what you broke with this but plz make it a priority, bombing is extremely difficult without probes working properly

hi!

bug several times this evening (me and friends).

after scanning down sigs to 100% , probes back,
NO right-click menu with "warp to" (only the right click menu with ignore result...)

workaround: deplying probes 2nd time and one fast scan on the sig.

no fun for pvp in wh's

Ok, so from a few reports and confirmation. I have currently two further issues that will get fixed:
Initial scanning of the system will not show the location of signatures (0m, 0% and nothing visible on map.) Probe hits after this will be fine for signatures.

Combat probing, no red dots are being displayed during this process.

If there is anything else, I'm watching here. I am scanning myself all day today, but so far these are the two issues that people will run into.

When combat scanning distance to scanned down results is bugged and do not update if you have scanned down the signature (ship) once before.

I just had the following problem - I enter a system with 4 sigs. I scan them each down and they are:

1. wormhole
2. relic site
3. combat site
4. wormhole

After I finish scanning all sites are at 100% but the only one that I can warp to is the last sig I scanned. In order to warp to the others I set probes for 32au and rescanned. At this point all sigs were warpable.

Combat scanning IS broken...carebear. No returns on the map. Its like playing Marco Polo with probes. And we hate you too ;)

Please go to a system with Cosmos sites and scan there.
It seems to me that this is where the "unnamed combat sites issue" started for me.
Once i started scanning there every single combat site - including anomalies lost their name and I have to warp in blindly to find out what it is.

Ive been scanning and exploring for years and this is for sure not an issue from my side - or anyone posting here.

Be glad your scanning still works.

Edit:
You think THIS is a problem on our side ? :P

Combat Probe Scanning:

NO Initial red spheres on system entry, odd ones that do appear while ship scanning are not the location of anything scannable!

No red dots on signature returns above 0% AT ALL!

Bordered icon does not appear for scanned ships until it's a green w/warpto, kinda hard to get that when theres nothing previous! Took me 3 hours last night to find 2 ships abandoned in space.

Ok, my bad. This 'workaround' only works for core probes. I can confirm that one doesn't see **** on screen with combats unless you get the target above 75%. But usually I don't have this issue, because i approx 'know' where i have to scan and get 100% in one scan. So, CCP please fit it ASAP!!!! Or role back to the working state before Odyssey 1.1.
