Remember when planets made you go WOAH? And then you flew through one.

If you guys roll this immersion fix come winter release, my thanks. You guys are getting back on the ball of things, even small stuff counts.

With this just a note; your ring planets are also in conflict with warp projectories. Fix too!

Time to let speculations run wild on how it will look :)
My personal favorite is this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=r94UplBdSMM -- how close is "Winter" to this one? Big smile

Well, they oughta know what to do with them hogs out there for shure.

Think about, at the speed of 360 000km/h (100m/s - the speed of a bs) you would need a force = mass (of a BS) x acceleration (from 0 to 100m/s) at 90 degrees (a engine on the left or right side of the ship) to change you on a trajectory at 45 degrees. That is enormous.

You math is off by a thousand. 100m/s is just 360km/h, not far from the top speed of a F1 car.

There are already giant mushrooms in space and I think that's as close as you are going to get.

You do realize that your brain doesn`t have the ability to perceive that kind of information (a black image when passing through a planet - also other objects moving with a relative speed greater than your ship) Think about when you are in a train, and another one passes in the opposing direction; how many faces can you recognize? Think now if you are traveling with enormous speeds. The angular speed is great when obj are closer, and small when they are far - as the sun.

This is the same thing as the 25 frame movie, your retina sense it, but your brain doesn`t receive it.

If I were you, I wouldn't be using pseudo-science to try and rationalise away an essentially 'emotional' issue - the two rarely mix well...

And as for your theory that the brain doesn't receive signals at speeds in excess of 25htz (or fps) - did you really think that through before you typed it?

Anyway, Winter is coming... So no thumbs up from me...

I stand corrected, I was going to write m.

As for the frame/s part, I went there for a common knowledge example (see Refractory period on neurons).

If you want scientific references to articles stating what I`ve said, you are welcome. Mail me in the game.

Why?

Slingshotting around celestial bodies in warp would be awesome.

There are few planets that would be black inside. Some actually should be close to white in color (as humans perceive white).

Incarna - Newest business example of mismanaged capital. CCP - Continuing to gank independent PI producers every day

PvP's latest  incentive program ** Unified Inventory **  'Cause you gotta kill something after trying to use it

It would be nice if they just fixed the warp tunnel graphics so it actually displayed.
