My EVE

So to begin I have played eve on and off for six years, but only for months at a time. I came back for odyssey because I enjoyed the exploration of incarna. After playing for a week just getting used to the new exploration mechanics I found myself pushing into low sec space. It was here things changed for me.
It was a day where I found a relic site and thought everything was good to go. There was nobody in local so I started the hack. About halfway through the mini game local goes plus one. I dscan but don't see probes so figure I'm safe to continue. I keep spamming scan and see nothing until a manticore decloaks next to me as I finish the hack. He locks me up and pummels my buzzard with rockets. And all the while he takes the time to scoop a few of my cans. As I escape with my pod I have to ask the only question in my head about what happened. I type in local 'you already scanned the signatures' a smiley was my response.

So the next day I fit out a manticore with rockets. Went through five systems and scanned everything. Then warped around for thirty minutes. Then I see it. A venture and he isn't at a asteroid belt. So I dscan my bookmarks and find him at a gas site. When I drop out of warp I have him. The taste of blood is in the water. But it was such easy prey. I wanted something more. The logical next step was to join a wh Corp to hunt with.

A week into this new life of a new sinister pod pilot in wh space I log in and set to dscan the adjacent systems. I find a drake at a combat sleeper site. I inform my FC and we begin watching ready to pounce. Then a harbinger shows up on dscan. 'are they working together? Is the drake bait?'. We don't pull the trigger. We need more Intel. So I scan down the harbringer with dscan and find him at a different combat site. Different corps. So we watch both targets. They are both solo and within dscan of each other. The drake finally gets spooked by the harbinger. Our attention is now focused on our only target. But the harbringer is eradic. Warping in and out of the site to different planets every few minutes. We decide he can't handle the sleepers and his tank keeps failing. So we pounce. Me in my now torpedo fitted manticore and another manti as well as a proteus. My volley finished him.

The blood is freezing large rocks of red gloop in space now. And my ships crew tells me it's better than pulling in space junk from relics.
