Exchanging Bookmarks for escalations

I received an escalation. Can I make a BM for the site, contract it to another toon, and have that toon complete the escalation for me? And can that toon reset the timer on the escalation?

Yes, but you have to warp the original owner to the site. So for instance you could fleet up with your alt, get both to the destination system, warp both there and let your alt do the escalation step, thus picking up any further steps. Or you warp the initial owner there, make a bookmark and later trade it to your alt.

The timer is reset every time you initiate warp.
