I think they should ban you from high sec.. To many noobs being killed by high sec pirates. STOP HARASSING THE LOCAL WILDLIFE IN NOOB FARM VIL. THEY AREN'T OR CAN'T YET DEFEND THEM SELVES OR PAY FOR A BOUNTY. WHAT STEPS SHOULD CCP TAKE AGAINST NOOB WILDLIFE HUNTING. SO THEY LET ANYONE ANY NOOB TO KILL YOU.

Because new players spend 4 years mining in highsec.

I personally enjoy when people activate my killrights because I just... you know kill them as well then send the mail to the person who sold the killrights saying do you see what you did. Then fly away with my kill rights in tact.

This PvP is fueled by Kraken Rum.

Haha, these replies couldn't "illiterate" any more. I just resubbed, didn't know the mechanic being discussed existed and was surprised by it. Was just tyring to make a suggestion on how, in my opinion, it could possibly work better. Though, I see that all of you are on board with this mechanic, so I will deal with it =P

So, admitedly ignorant of certain changes, upon hearing about them, the first thing you do is suggest improvements instead of trying to figure out the rationale behind them .. and complain about the change being excessive.

No complaints here, sorry I am not "pro" and didn't have the chance to make my suggestion before it was released. I experienced the mechanic, read up on it, understood it, and came here to make a suggestion. Go **** yourself, if you are against talking about in game mechanics and believe that the community can't possibly have ideas and suggestions of their own. So Excuuuuuse me for just seeing what the community thought about it.

Unless you simply don't care... Or are hoping someone will come after you fer realz.

That was more ment about the old system, if you had killrights on you for example you most of time were prevented to do something like incursions.
The current system is alot better, if someone makes it availble to the public for 0 isk you just clear it with an alt and move on.

You ganked a miner, ffs. there is consequences. Crimewatch is better now than it was before. Killrights are just fine.
You have (a) a loophole around it, and (b) dont care!
you don't get killrights for destroying his ship in lowsec, you get them for agressing a POD in lowsec (or a ship in hisec). If you went that far, you should live with the consequences. Or be the "weekend pvper" that you certainly seem to be, with the need for hisec, and only kill ships and leave them poor pods warping back to Jita to buy a new ship (i heard Rancer is an awesome short-cut).

Also, you get a notification mail that someone made Killrights available for ZERO isk to EVERYONE in eve. Wasn't worth reading up on the mechanic, at least then???

The system is perfect.

You made a decision to single someone out and shoot them.

That someone made a decision to single you out to be shot.

How is that excessive?

Don't be so thick... If I was unaware of the change to the kill right mechanic, why would it be intuitive for me to check my mail for something related to it? I get mail blinks for alliance messages, insurance, contraband, etc... so Yea, sorry I didn't go "OMG BLINKY MAIL ICON MUST BE SOMETHING RELATED TO A NEW GAME MECHANIC!"

You are ******* moronic and if you actually believe what you typed you have no ability of rational thought.

Does no one on these forums ever say anything that takes any thought? Almost every reply so far seems that it came from a shared text document called "standard_insults.txt". Dying for attention and popularity on who the biggest troll is aren't we guys?

I am not QQing about my death, because it won't happen again. I can't expect to not be surprised after not playing for multiple years. I just think the mechanic could of been done differently and could be a bit more complex.

You podded a hapless miner. You ignored the mail that warns you about a public killright. You didn't know about the mechanic in the first place.
What are you complaining about again?
/edit: Wow, you must be a special snowflake. So after you cba to read up what actually changed in the game you come to the forums to complain that your actions have concequences?

I'm sorry if this hurts you, but you are not worth opening "special_insults.txt" over.

Oh and the fact that you regularly pop back into the thread to tell us how pathetic our trolling is? Not helping.
