Sadly, Goonswarm is now moving into Star citizen including many more doodoo matter from eve...sadly eve universe is not enough, they are determined to ruin that too.

It's not even news any more. Goons go to a lot of games because goons are members of the SA forums which consists of 1000's of members. It may or may not consist of the goons you see in this game. They may or may not act the same as the goons here.

I don't really understand why people still get excited when they hear things like this.

Cause there are sooo many trying to enjoy a game without hassle from those that live to do just that.

Luckily SC will allow private servers, yea no grief play.

I didn't bothered to check. First, because CIG is not CCP. And second, in the long run private servers will be the majoritary option for players.

Anyhting ranging from "hardcore" servers to "[enter franchise]" servers, if CIG can re-sell the game to people rrunning the private servers, they're gonna have a good pofitable cash cow.

My experiences with Il-2 Sturmovik online teached me to not underestimate the power of private moddable servers in terms of game longevity.

You live in fear built on hype based on the horror stories that you hear stemming mainly from this game. You also live with blinders on if you think removing a person with association by name removes the problem, just as you arbitrarily assume their character and intentions because of that name.

Go hide in your private hole from the scary monsters.

Pandemic Legion invaded a start-up sandbox MMO I played, on the first day it opened. Kind of sucked, just because everybody else was a solo player, or maybe part of a group of 2 or 3 friends. The game involved exploring the territory and claiming a homestead spot. So when a huge pre-made group came in, so big that nobody else could hope to compete with it, in kind of whacked the dynamics of that particular sandbox. Oh well, that's the reality of meta.

Been here in EVE for years, been all over joined null corp, so no fear is not the problem, time and enjoyment without stupidity is what most people crave, I don't live online I have limited time to enjoy a game not dodge party poopers.

The only way you will do that is if you play single player games, or in your case you join a private server with your 3 friends. Stupidity and grief does not limit itself to one group name and that group name does not necessarily adhere itself to one style of play. Like I said, you live in fear based on hype of a name.

I fully admit, goons and griefers have won...I give up that's why I'm moving, nothing wrong with that.
If I have a chance to enjoy something else without that element why not.

Not at all, come there, NP, just won't be on private servers for those who don't want that element in them, I'm sorry if it offends people that their play style is not welcomed.

Sure I don't mind if I'm not missed, I don't need to feel like an Internet legend.

Many Goons are gamers, of course they're going to try other games, and given their well deserved reputation push the limits in them. They may act like asshats, but they do bring some colour to the games they play.

Seriously though, SC will not have much appeal to people that like to "push the limits" of MMOs... the single player portion is too prominent, and the game just isn't large scale enough, nor is it meant to be.
