Official stance on running the game in parrallels or vmware?

Just curious about this one.

I've been having issues with the client freezing up on my macbook pro. It seems to be a pretty common issue.

I've managed to work around this issue by running it inside a windows xp virtual machine using vmware fusion 5.


It actually runs really well and does not suffer the freezing issue that I get running the cider port.

The thing is some of my alliance mates have told me that CCP might ban me for using vmware.

Is there any truth to this?

I can't see any reason why.

I run Parallels and it works flawlessly and I can't see anything in running a VM that would violate any terms and conditions.
