G'day Guys and gals,

I have just recently started logi piloting and have started to hate how every single broadcast looks the same.
My idea is to have the ability to change the background colour for different broadcasts. Just like you can for the overview.

eg.
Armour broadcasts have a Red background
Shield broadcasts have a Blue background
Cap broadcasts have a Yellow background

Just an idea.

I just wanted to express both my support for this idea and my thanks for posting a reasonable request that addresses a very common and long-standing UI issue.

you know you can already filter the brodacast so to display only the one you need right? right?

like if you fly a scimi, you only see fleet align + shield broadcast, no armor / cap etc....?

Yes I am aware that you can toggle different broadcasts types. However if you want/need to monitor multiple broadcasts and quickly distinguish between them the small icon and text is the only method atm.

yeah, i was not meaning this was a bad idea, it is actually a very good one, but i just wanted to make sure that this basic filtering possibility was known :p

Yeah I can see how the sound may be a problem but not if you had the option to turn it off.

However you could have the colour background flash for 5-10 seconds after a new broadcast is made.

Yeah it would be a bonus if you could toggle it. I can also see how it could get annoying without that toggle.

However my original idea was purely a UI idea.

Not such a fan of the sound idea, but would LOVE to see customisable backgrounds on this with a flash/highlight when new broadcasts appear.
