This was always a serious thread.

MWD and long point are all you need on the Punisher, especially now that it's been nerfed properly.

The Rifter, though. It really is too stronk.

You need to quit the game now unless your brand new, the only OP T1 frigs atm are the merlin (And it's not the ship itself, it's the new asb's used with it.) and the incursus. (Just outright OP.) which wins every frig battle except against itself.

Also I'm not sure why people are calling the rifter OP atm, unless I missed some MAJOR changes in the last patch I've killed them left and right in every other frig. Even some of the so-called underpowered ones.

Vagabond was not nerfed. They added the velocity bonus onto the hull itself.

I killed an Incursus once in a Rifter and it was really easy. Sure, it took a lot of piloting skill, but in the end it was the Rifter hull that won that fight.

Well actually you usually end up with a stalemate if both are optimally fit and on even ground, the issue is the absolutely insane armor repair amount they have with dual reps. They can outrep any frig's dps I believe, indefinitely unless neuted. Hence the "exception" in my statement, as neither wins.

Also this ship was just made 15% more OP with the patch, not counting OGBs.

It can still perform the exact same role it did before. The brawling bonus is advantageous either way, as people will expect you to be brawler fit now.

I don't get this type of thinking. As they rolled the velocity bonus into the hull, and then gave it a free shield boost bonus... not instead of some revoked bonus, but in addition to the other bonuses. You can still kite in the exact same way as before, except you can now tank a bit too. What is it exactly that is preventing one from kiting in this ship? Your analogy with the Sac fails, because unlike the Sac, the Vaga does 2600m/s with no heat or implants, which is the property that makes it a decent kiter (and the falloff bonus). Giving a free shield boost bonus to a hull doesn't magically make it into a less effective kiter. It's now just a kiter that can actually handle incoming damage. Oh, and let's not forget that the new role bonus halving the sig helps it as a kiter. I'm still going to kite in my vaga, and I'll also rep 1000 incoming dps. **** the haters.

how to fix eve: 1) remove ECM 2) rename dampeners to ECM 3) add new anti-drone ewar for caldari 4) give offgrid boosters ongrid combat value
