Sorry, where does it say when you log on that just because you're in a pvp ship, that you automatically get to kill those that aren't? If you wish to run around solo and pick your targets, then you get to pay for that by the targets sometimes getting away.

Its a question of balance and risk. Same as everything in EvE. When you added WCS you lost cargo. When you added expanders you were slower and could be scrammed. Thats been messed up.

Dear CCP,

Warp stabs are not the answer to your care bear problem. I just checked out these new haulers, and found they have plenty of low slots that use to be full of cargo expanders. Now that cargo expanders won't really do much for these new PI, mineral, and ore holds people will start filling every low they have with warp core stabs. I would like to either see an agility penalty added to warp core stabs or less low slots on these new haulers so i can at least catch them without having both a faction and T2 scram taking up 2 of my mids. It's bad enough I have to fit a warp scram worth the price of my ship to catch most W-space dwellers but to have 2 mid slots taken up by warp scrams is a bit much.

Best wishes

(Yes I know bubbles are great, but when most W-space dwellers log off at the first sign of combat now days and you don't see them again for weeks.... Also the fact indy ships are... err sorry use to be fun to hunt solo in a scan ship with poor dps yeah those days have ended. There will be a lot less solo WH roamers after the last few patches we have seen.)

If you can't catch one you dont deserve one.

Now that they hold a billion in ammo, if you cant be arsed to spend the money killing one... Hello Kitty online is F2P.

internet spaceships

are serious business sir.

strawman arguments say a lot of the people using them.

balance exists now, previously people would NEVER, undock an industrial unless the system was empty of neutrals. so deciding between stabs and cargo expanders never happened.

the beefiest t1 haulers aligned in 10 seconds and had 9kehp. even with no point you could kill them with a frigate.

so we went from absolute risk, to high risk. because anyone who isn't a mouthbreathing "solo" pvper, can have 2 or 3 other people doing points or just blapping the damn thing before it warps out.

the Epithal aligns in 11 seconds with 4 stabs and has a signature of 250m with 15kehp. if you cant kill it, you need to stop playing, now.

the best the pilot can do is drop to stabs and hope to only have one point ship on him, replacing the other two with 2 nanos, and he will still take 8 seconds to align.

and arguing about not being able to catch or kill a Nereus is stupid. the ship can align in 4 secs, has 30kehp and even has a drone bay for ECM... you are not supposed to kill it with ease. working as intended.

nah most W-space dwellers don't log in but to update skills/PI anymore :P

Most of the time I'm sitting in a pilgrim or a prote 80km off of a tower waiting days or weeks for someone to log in in a random WH while i play another game. If I even log on at all. W space is dead.

Wow, really? I don't like to criticize anyone's playstyle, but that does not sound like a fun use of your game time. I don't think a change in game mechanics is what will truly help you to enjoy more.

Forget the stabs, now we have haulers than can murder frigates and dessies!

i read a bit of this and the way i interpreted was "i like to shoot things that can't shoot back. top notch fun. i find a pleasing synergy when i combine it with my other favorite activities. kicking crippled people when they fall down and poking beached jellyfish with a stick."

i didn't get much further than that.

Honestly, I should be shooting TEST sov structures, and posting about how they're losing the last bit of their sov.

lets talk about blockade runners in lowsec or cloaky t3 nullified whatevers... those are impossible to catch. I thought we were against that?

Arguably, cloak-nulli-T3s are easier to catch in lowsec than elsewhere, since lowsec camps don't rely on bubbles to all their work and rather expect that the target will be able to pull some kind of cloaking trick.

They're still cruisers and not particularly agile ones (unless you mod them up, but that makes them squishier) so you if your tacklers are good enough…

I'm not having this out again... but no. Cloaky nullified t3s are invuln in lowsec. Period.

how does a nullifier help a cloaky in low sec? if you're doing low sec work its stupid to fit a nully sub...
