I couldnt get past 45% downloading the patch, tried multiple things, repair tool also bugged. Made posts about it in the launcher threads with pastebin info on the launcher and repair tool errors. Got no replies. Alternative patching methods wouldnt work. So I downloaded the client all over, that worked. Now I have a new client, how do I get all my settings from the old one to this one that works?

Also, thank you ccp, for this fantastic new launcher that works amazingly! In 3 years of playing I never had an issue until this launcher came out. I never realised how boring and lame things are when they work properly all the time.

I had the same issue and I was able to restore all my settings (graphics, audio, market quickbar, etc...) by copying the settings folder from my previous EVE installation. You can find this at:

C:\Users\username\AppData\Local\CCP\EVE\c_program_files_(x86)_ccp_eve_tranquility\settings

I put the entire settings folder in the new folder which was C:\Users\username\AppData\Local\CCP\EVE\c_program_files_(x86)_ccp_games_eve_tranquility\settings for me, since I installed the second EVE installation in CCP Games as opposed to CCP.
