Obviously a lot of work went into this nerf. On a scale of 1 to 10 how would you rate it overall? I know there are specific areas that could be rated but for this thread either rate the patch overall or nerfs. Please specify which.

Overall I see this as about a 6, nerfs probably7. We've had patches that killed the fun more but this one is pretty close to ones that made me unsub most of my toons.

Sorry for not posting with my main. I'm in a corp position that requires a better outlook than I have right now.

I rate this thread as a solid 7 on the 1 to 10 whine scale.

Judging the only nerf in this patch was the gang links, I'd guess he's a gank linking noob who can't win a fight without them.

I had a guy in a friendly chat channel that started complaining that his itty III got rebalanced. We told him just to sell it and get an Itty V, and he just said "Ok, though I wish I could have known about these changes earlier".

People, there are forums, dev blogs, patch notes, and most of those things have links right on the launcher. All you need to do is learn to read . . . or is that too much to ask? Whining about a nerf a month before it happens shows that you are at least trying. Whining about a nerf on patch day just shows stupidity.

I'd give it a 4, this isn't the first QQ thread like this since the patch yesterday. After awhile, they start getting rated lower and lower. Sorry, you win the toaster, not the mercedies. Try again next time.

As far as I'm aware there have been no nerfs:

The industrial line up got a huge boost to variability/functionality
Non boosted solo pilots got bumped closer to "solo" pvpers with boosters
The UI got a few tweaks
Command ships are useful
HACS got some nice changes meaning that they are relevent again
local repping got a nice boost
Med long range guns got a boost
Skills got a bit easier to understand improving accessibility.

I just can't see a nerf there anywhere

could you calm your rage enough to allow the red clouds to part and elucidate us on what "nerf" you are talking about?

If you've never tried PvP in EvE it's quite possible you've missed out on one of the greatest rushes available in modern gaming.
