armor and siege links seriously nerfed (oh, i'm sorry; "adjusted") with no real purpose. these links affect smaller groups than larger fleets.

changes made by CCP continue their downwards fall.

What?>> EVE Online: Odyssey 1.1 has been successfully deployed on Tranquility on September 3rd, 2013

Yep congratulations on deploying a near 800 meg update to your Server, maybe u would like to bring the update files for the client around to my house so i can play the game i love and support, I am now on my second day of fail fail fail, not everyone on the planet has a fantastic net, some of us have wifi and commmunial wifi at that, that resets to socket on the hr every hr of every day, does the launcher get up of the floor and start from whence it last finished not on your life, it just hangs there motionless and dead as a dead parrot. Is there an alternative such a a direct link to the file perhaps that i could use a download utility that can handle being cut off mid conversation, orry guys but deploying 800 meg in a one go hit is just totally inconsiderate and stupid to say the least, a very very annoyed Aurty, but peace n much love to the beloved many.

Took me 50 secs to download it. Don't blame CCP for your cheapness.

edit: Get closer to your source to avoid dropping. Download it at some other location. Have your landlord upgrade his WIFI system. Get your own. Many solutions for any given problem. When the problem is you, go see a psychiatrist or accept your shortcomings.

Reopen the EVE gate so we can invade Serenity. Goons can go first.

There is nothing cheap about WiFi its more expensive and not everyone lives in the middle of a city yes that's right there are humans in the deep darkest corner of the planet who don't have the luxury of fiber optics, and you completely missed the point.

Love the skill tree changes, love the skill name changes. Your OCD must be comparable to mine! Lol

And to all of the "EVE is dying" whiners, get over yourselves and adapt or just quit already. Anyone who didn't recognize the mess the skill name and tree had become is like the guy in your office whose filling system is piles of papers mixed with sandwich wrappers.

Changing the names of the industrial was a dumb decision.

New roles + new name = less confusion.

The reality of the situation is this, the only thing that didn't change was the appearance and skill reqs. They could have deleted multiple ships and created new ones for the new role, but then everyone would be whining about preferring the Mk. 2 or some such.

Face it if they'd gone the other route we'd have new roles + same name = omgwtf-incarna2style-shootjitamonument-and-emoragequit

They're INDUSTRIALS! What's to be confused about? Need a bigger hold? Get a bigger ship (if you fly Gallente). At this point the changes have basically given gankers a big, flashing "Shoot me! I'm carrying expensive stuff!" sign over specialized industrials!

Just another little attempt by CCP to create even more of an Easy Button for high sec losers who can't survive in low or null. Good job, CCP.

There's a phrase in software development called "feature creep". It's basically the adding new, irrelevent non-sense just to add stuff. The changes to the skill tree are just that: feature creep. Splitting up categories of skills just to split them up is dumb. There is no other name for it.

So math wiz, what's the answer to these equations?

Same modules + new name = ??? (or)

Same skill effect + new name = ???

Because having rigs, manufacturing, armor and hull skills together always made sense. NOT.

I could cite plenty more senseless examples, but I hate typing on a smartphone and am no where near a computer.

Everything looks good for the most part, but since the 1.1 patch, I've noticed that on Mac OS X, when I press the system mute button on my keyboard, EVE online does not get muted. It's volume seems to be operating completely independent of the system master controls.

There what's nothing wrong with the numbered system (iteron 1, 2...) but now we have have multiple, harder to pronounce names for crappy industrial ships. It was unnecessary.

Okay, what's easier to remember Louis I - Louis XVIII or Andrew Jackson, Thomas Jefferson, etc. Name are meaningful, numbers not so much. Now add to that the fact that the roles for these ships changed significantly. It was going to really suck remembering which Iteron did what, and fortunately cooler heads prevailed amongst the devs. I for one am greatful to our CCP overlords.

I don't like the new layout when you 'show info' on anything. It was easier to read the way it was before PLEASE CHANGE IT BACK.

Why was the Badger Mark II renamed to a word that is hard to pronounce? Tayra doesn't even roll off the tongue, change it back please.

IF IT AIN'T BROKE, DON'T FIX IT!!!

You had plenty of time to ***** about this when it was being discussed in Features and Ideas....also when the Dev Blog was posted about these changes. Please provide input during design and development, or just adapt when the changes come and quit bitching.

This feedback was given in Features & Ideas, multiple times. Like so much other good feedback, it was ignored.

In this case, apparently everyone at CCP has their show info windows only a couple hundred pixels wide. If you think about all the screenshots of show info windows we've seen from devs, it makes sense.

How very selfless of you, perhaps some consideration for others is in order. This is a MMO as in multiplayer, not a stand alone game. Just because one person doesn't like a change doesn't mean the rest of us aren't pleased with this change.

As far as pronunciation goes, how very ethnocentric of you. I imagine it rolls quite nicely off of the Icelandic, or for that matter, European tongue. Try expanding your mind, this game is on the Internet, the WORLD wide web, not the USAnet. And before you ask, yes I'm from the States.

Dude, the ROLES CHANGED. Old line = Industrial (transport anything). New line = specific ships can only carry specific things; go thru each description of each ship to find the one that can carry minerals. Oh, and guess what, you're now a great big read flashing target for gankers.

Old = every ship had to be scanned. New = target this one SPECIFIC type of ship for either pinyata goodies or an empty hull.

You really need to think out your posts before you hit the Submit button.

If you're ganking ships without scanning first you've gotta be the worst piwate ever. If I'm getting blown up by CONCORD I wanna know there's something in the ship to make my effort worth my ship loss. Piracy is about income not foolishness. Roll

Now if you're ganking for the LOLs then that's an entirely different story, but in that case you don't care and would blow anything up, 'because it's there.'

TBH, IMHO you're at far greater risk in an ice belt than at a Customs station.
