What to do with ships and stuff after tutorials?

I've finished the main tutorials and heading to arnon

1) What should I do with the basic ships that I might want to use in the future (wreathe, venture, probe)?

2) Which ship should I take - the slasher or thrasher?

3) Is there a way to use the search that displays threads instead of posts?

4) I never lose my ISK in the bank if I die or am podded, right?

1. You can load them up in a hauler (once they are repackaged) and probably take most of them with you.

2. If you're not leaving in a hauler I'd take the thrasher with you for now. It's more powerful and if you run into a mission where you can only use a frigate and don't want to head all the way back to the starting system, a frigate is cheaper to replace.

3. I'm not familiar enough with the forum search tool to answer this sufficiently.

4. Correct. If you get blown up in space only the ship you are in is lost. (make sure you purchase insurance) Although there will be wreckage left behind and you might be able to get back and loot some of the modules that weren't destroyed in the explosion.

1) You can either move them manually one at a time, returning in a Pod or a shuttle to collect the other ships, you can sell them, you can have them moved in a courier contract. Or you can train for industrial ships and move them in one go, if you have enough space. I suggest you move them in one go.

2) Thrasher is a good destroyer, and you will be able to use that to complete most level 1 and level 2 missions.

3) I don't think so

4) You will never lose ISK in your wallet through death. In fact, if you die you usually get an insurance payout for the ship you lost. There are different levels of insurance - check the insurance button when in-station. If you ever fly a Tech 3 ship (such as the Loki) you can lose skillpoints for losing those ships. But you won't have to worry about that for a while yet :)

3) If you go to the search option, advanced search, there is an option to search for topics.

You can take your Venture and start mining.

You can take your probe and scan down relic and data sites and hack the containers.

You can take your destroyer and start running missions against NPC pirates.

Or you can take your small combat frigate and start trying to fight other players.

Or check out this chart for other ideas:

Once you know what you want to do, the players here can give you tips.

If you're heading to Arnon to start the Sisters of Eve epic arc, I suggest that your Thrasher is by far the best ship of your choices to start that particular mission chain with. It's a fantastic ship.
