Well, since I guess it was sometime in either 2009 or 2010 when I was here on an old account I kept up with all the changes since, all the discussions about various subjects and reading some or the other threads, I came back to a totally different Eveonline thatn what I remember.

So,I finally decided to give it another go and see what it would be lke. Well I can honestly say I am really surprised at all I done so far. came back with the intent of being a Pirate and Mercenary and go for broke and enjoy Eve.

At my age this is one activity I am gonna do, and have fun with it. I done lost a few ships already (lol) and kept on pressing forward and just having a good time. The Corp I'm in took me under their wings, providing me with a chance to become one or the best there is. Yeah I know I'm gonna get flamed I just let it go cause I know this commmunityy like the back of my hand.

In closing, I am a victim of ColoRectal cancer and fought and won that fight and in remission.

Sounds like somebody just became a pirate, and is proving they are dark, edgy, and dangerous on the forums. You'll grow out of it eventually. And you'll look back at these posts and cringe. Don't worry. We've all done it.

LOL!! I always considered myself being dark, mysterious, living on the edge. Good attributes to have if you ask me.

I was on the dark side even before I learned about how to not make the auth people hate me.

Despite joining the middle of an EXCITING WAR GUYZZ!!!!, it was just structures and Boat.

Welcome back from me too....
... no one should ever emo quit EVE .. maybe all gamers need a break for a year or two ( I took one) but your assets and characters and even many of your old friends will be here to reunite with.

It's great you were able to dive back into a good situation... my return has worked pretty well like that too.. reuinited with game friends I met during trial period, tackling with a t1 fit frigates when were were war decced. Hundreds of kills with them later. moves in alliances etc (a bit filtering in and out on their own breaks) ... we've got some good memories to add to every night.

There isn't any such thing as too old for this game either (or any game... ... us older guys just had to get used to the computer instead of dice and lore books and avalon hill chits... but I'm sure the people in their 20's here won't think twice about playing into their 80's ... hopefully in holo-suites with hot chick npcs)

I thought is was more like Boat and the phrases "jump to" and "bridge to." DBRB is a good dude, though, all kidding aside.
