Jenn, you and I have actually been agreeing on a fair bit lately, but as a welfare recipient myself due to disability, gonna have to tell you to pull your head in on this one. All you're doing is generalising and putting all welfare recipients into the same basket of "people that make me mad". But IRL, you wouldn't know the first thing about enough of these people to make such a broad generalisation.

I won't get into a real life discussion here more than it already is, but my job takes me daily to projects and trailer parks. I'm not talking about the welfare recipients who deserve help because of circumstances they can't control, I'm talking about the ones who make bad choices and then get rewarded for making bad choices. The problem with being a man is that I can't just -pregnancy- my way to ever bigger paychecks like so many of my daily "clients" do...... lol.

Which is what i'm saying here. The guy made some bad choices that any adult should have been able to avoid with 2 seconds of thinking, and Infinity Ziona wants to reward him for it. I think that's a bad idea, they think they're helping someone when in fact they are allowing those same people to stay stupid.

Doing dumb things is supposed to hurt so that people don't want to do dumb things again.

What I don't understand is if the people know he stole from his corp, why would you want to help him? I mean yea thats part of the game and not complaining about that or anything but don't reward him for being stupid..

Yes, yes it does.

Also, first reply got it. Almost impossible this isn't a scam. And if it's not a scam, it's rewarding abject utter stupidity (not to mention willingness for self debasement). Have we reached the point in EVE Online where it's more cost effective to make BAD choices and cry for pity/welfare?

You know, like in real life. Such a system is unsubstainable.

[Edit: Oh, and if you want to reward everyone that was ever "scammed" by Erotica 1, then you'll need some serious funding. Good luck with that.

One of ours, ten of theirs.

Why can't it be both?
