Drone Interface

Drone back to bay with Drag & Drop

Drone in a group will getting removed from group and get into another group.

.. it should not be functional if drones are in space to get per drag & drop a new group.

.... not that I reported this issue for test server some time ago ... -.-

Same problem as already reported on 2 systems, both Windows 7, 64 bit, one on Home Premium one on Ultimate.
Download finishes but installing just sits at 0% - using Task Manager shows the Launcher as active but CPU usage just stays at zero.
Have ended the launcher and restarted both machines and download starts again from about 50% (what happened to the rest ?)
Waiting to see whether it completes the install this time.

UPDATE
Applying the patch started OK this time and ran through so I'm in-game on the Ultimate box (Home Premium is still downloading)
I didn't delete anything (deleting the patch is suggested in a few posts) but I did click on the launcher occasionally to keep it the 'active window' and did keep the mouse over it most of the time (no, I don't walk under ladders)

UPDATE to UPDATE
Patch successful on both boxes now on second attempt. Repeat, I didn't need to delete the patch.

Hope you all get it working soon

patch downloaded to 100%,

patch then initiated a self destruct programme on my CPU and it went up in flames.

Confirming Dorna, on 2nd try patching starts at 50 % progress bar; file size seems to have gone down a bit too (?!). Still downloading, let's see what happens.

Oh, stopped the launcher after 1st try, deleted d/l'd patch before relaunching. Win7 Ultimate 64bit.

Had the same issue, started the launcher a zillion times, the only way it worked was by:

1) Run the launcher as normal, get the patch file name above the process bar and find the actual file on you pc while its downloading / patching (file probably called “EVE_Online_590158-598940_win.patch” under your EVE program folder).

2) Don’t do anything just yet, wait until it hangs at patching 100% and close your launcher.

3) Delete the patch file, in my case “EVE_Online_590158-598940_win.patch” or whatever it’s called.

4) Run your launcher again and repeat steps 1 – 4.

It seems the download file stops then starts to patch with an incomplete file. Doing 1 - 4 the launcher will at least patch what’s been downloaded, then only downloads the rest of the file (only what’s needed).

NOPE THIS IS ***NOT*** WORKING!!! CCP FIX YOUR ****** PATCHER NOAW EvilEvilEvilEvilEvilEvilEvilEvil

After 2nd download (remarkably fast compared to the first one) patching started... let's see how far it gets.

Patch went fine this time. For whatever it's worth, deleting the patch file after the first failed attempt and restarting the launcher helped.

Thumbs up for everyone who's still struggling with it Ugh

the "attributes" and "fitting" windows appear to have an opague font
in any case, it's somewhat hard to read
i checked with different colors and the font changed with the backround,
staying difficult to read no matter what i selected

love the changes to those windows, just, please fix that font :)

Tried to download 3 times now. Currently stuck here:

(2/4): CREATING EVE_ONLINE_590158-598940_WIN.PATCH: 67.0% - DOWNLOADING 255.02 MB / 751.24 MB

Gonna try the repair.exe trick, and see where we go from there.

Edit:

Ran repair.exe, it took 20 min. Now I get:

CLIENT IS READY

Here goes nothing!

ok i know that pulse lasers were not affected by latest patch but before the patch went live i took a screen shot of fitting on some of my ships for new rep amount. My legion is pulse laser fitted and before patch it had falloff range of 27km and optimal range of 22 with conflag but now its got 16 and 11.

i just docked up and 3 of the 5 were showing old values but 2 were showing lower values. I have just tried undocking and looking at values again ( with tactical overlay on and they are showing the lower values still!!

yes the client has been restarted and i did unfit and refit the guns and its still the same can you explain this please?

Also i have had to download updates twice to get them to work on 3 clients!! And running as admin made no difference.

Like this guy, yesterday I had a cap-stable fitting for my Navy Geddon - now its like 20mins or something with all modules off except weapons. But I'm guessing in my case this is from the 50 to 40 percent bonus reduction in the Genolution CA-2 implant set. Funny how that fine print seems insignificant until a tiny detail you've overlooked has a negative impact on your game lol.

I'd best restock my cap booster inventory.

Oh and the launcher of course froze at 100% downloading, manually restarted the launcher, downloaded patch again and it applied fine on the second attempt.

words "activation cost" in Activation Cost on module info isnt capitalized. maybe I'm OCD, but I noticed it first thing

also "powergrid usage" is not capitalized under Fitting

Odyssey 1.0
downloaded patch @ work to USB stick (credits to good guy boss)
went home
copied patch file to eve directory
started launcher
patch was applied instantly
---perfect---

Odyssey 1.1
downloaded patch @ work to USB stick (again credits to good guy boss)
went home
copied patch file to eve directory
started launcher
patch... starts to download

uhm, maybe I copied the patch file to the wrong location? Let's check that! Download aborted, launcher closed.
Copied patch file again to the right location (next to the older patch files)

started launcher... patch file disappears and starts to download (why use an existing file when you can download it?)

Maybe exefile.exe will work... copied patch a third time, started exefile.exe... patch starts downloading...

Well... repair.exe? Copied patch a fourth time, run repair.exe... guess what? patch starts downloading...

750MB downloading with 10KB/s up to 15KB/s, ~ 20 hours left

Gone are those days when low bandwith and high latency didn't affect the joy of playing EvE.

Let's hope and pray that some day i'll manage to download the whole patch without a single disconnect...

Maybe you want to add some features like "peer2peer" to your launcher as some providers block p2p-connections.
Would be a great possibility to not only lock out users with limited and/or low bandwith but many other users, too.
And a p2p feature would be a great opportunity to implement a whole bunch of new bugs to the launcher.

Good, it's not just me, it's taken hours for me to dl it the first time and now, it's re-downloading part of it "at a snail's pace".

ugh
